Big Brother loser Kemal is hoping to extend his time in the media spotlight by undergoing a sex change.

The exasperating Turkish belly-dancer is hoping to go through with the procedure as soon as possible and has already booked himself in to the gender realignment clinic in London's Harley Street.

The news has shocked the parents of the 19-year-old, who only even found out he was gay after tuning into the sixth series of the reality show.

Kemal hadn't told them the truth about his sexuality, deciding that they would take it better if eight million viewers found out at the same time.

And he decided to opt for the same tactic in letting them know that their baby boy is soon to be a girl.

A close friend of the wannabe told the Daily Star: "Kemal dressed and acted like a boy before he went on the show. But he was a different person when he left because it gave him a fresh start.

"But he told us, he'll still feel like he's living a lie unless he has the operation.

"He's frustrated because his new celebrity status has won him a horde of male admirers, but he doesn't want to be a boyfriend, he wants to be a girlfriend."

Hopefully, the operation will seal a similar fate for Kemal as that of the other fondly-remembered Big Brother transsexual Nadia, who has, it seems, finally had her 30 seconds of fame clocked out.

I’m confused. How can you come out as gay live in TV then suddenly say no, actually I’m not gay I’m really a straight women trapped in a mans body.

The cynic in me knows that he would have to live as women for a long period before they would even consider the opp, he’s being naive if he thinks this is ground breaking anyway, does he not remember Nadia

Kemal needs to have a long hard think about what he's about to do here. I think you have to wait a year before you are allowed to have the operation anyway. Kemal was the absolute steoero typical gay anyway, he dressed in women like clothes, he totally acted gay, and he loved to bitch. It makes me think he's just doing this to create and image for himself, and if this is the case, then i really think he should be dissallowed the operation.

He's 19 and doesn't know whether he's gay or bi and he's admitted that himself. He showed no evidence on BB of not wanting to be male.

What he did show evidence of was being the most shameless wannabee ever on BB....after meeting up with his parents was he concerned about them...no just his repeated statement to the cameras that we hadn't seen the last of him....methinks this is just another way of trying to keep in the public eye....should I have a sex change or not?

Maybe hes planning to have the op on the internet, and when he said "you aint seen the last of me" he was actually meaning it a lot more literally than we interpreted it.

If he's that desperate for attention and concidering his age, I'd say he's quite confused.

This is an extremely bad move if this is being done for attention. He should just stick to the way things are now. It makes me wonder whether or not when some people are gay, they think they should or want to be a woman. I know there are some men out there that want to change sex, but i don't think Kemal is one of those people. Come on Kemal, just stick to the way you are.

A gay friend of mine wanted to have a sex-change and was told he had to live and dress as a woman for 3 years before they'd even consider it. I'm going back about 10 years tho so I don't know what the current situation is... I can't quite work Kemal out...
