WHEN the inhabitants of the Big Brother house needed a bit of chocolate for comfort, a Yorkshire firm was on hand to help.
Chocolatier brothers Chris and Gareth East were called in by Channel 4 to supply the recently-finished show with chocolates.
The Chocolate Factory provided the show with an array of treats made from Belgian chocolate including steam trains, dinosaurs, footballers and rabbits, helping to turn the studio into a haven for chocoholics.
Celebrity guests and audience members participating in Big Brother's Big Mouth programme also sampled the brothers' treats.
"We were delighted that such a high profile TV programme actually contacted us to provide chocolates for the show," said Gareth, who is a director of the business.
"We had to extend production in order to meet their delivery timescales. However, we did manage to take a break and tune into the show."
The Chocolate Factory's products are available via the its two shops in Thornton Le Dale and Hutton Le Hole, in the North York Moors National Park, or online at
