Big Brother star Makosi Musambasi faces being deported from Britain as immigration officials assess whether she has broken the terms of her visa.

The 24-year-old Zimbabwean was questioned by police after she was initially stopped in a car on a driving matter.

She was quizzed at Staines Police Station in Middlesex after it was understood she was not wearing a passenger seatbelt.

Makosi, of High Wycombe, Bucks, had permission to work in the UK as a cardiac nurse but left her hospital job to enter the Big Brother reality show.

Speculation was rife during her time on the Channel 4 programme that she faced being booted out of the Big Brother house and the country over alleged visa irregularities.

A spokesman for Surrey Police said: "Police stopped a car on the M25 near Stoke D'Abernon on a driving matter.

"A 24-year-old Zimbabwean was then questioned by the immigration services, which is now dealing with the matter."

Makosi, who finished third in the reality show, told The Sun newspaper that she felt "betrayed" after she was released from custody.

She said: "I don't know what crime I've committed. I'd love to keep living in England but just don't know what's happening. I feel I've been used for entertainment and now am being betrayed."

It is understood she reapplied for a visa after she was voted out of the Big Brother house.

We’ve seen her ample frontage splashed all over the red-tops. But now it looks like we might be seeing the back of Big Brother star, Makosi Musambasi.

After allegedly being pulled over by the police for not wearing a seatbelt, she's found herself in hot water over the terms of her visa.

It looks like real life Big Bro has been watching.

The sassy Zimbabwean was reportedly granted permission to work in the UK as a cardiac nurse, but left her job when she entered the Big Brother house, says ThisIsLondon website.

I wish they would just get on with it, one way or the other. I can't believe she's playing the 'betrayed' card.

What's the betting she was politely asked to put it on, and then got all mouthy to the copper, eventually rolling out the line "Don't you know who I am?"
Now realising who she was decides to teach her that she can't behave outside the house in the nasty egotistical way she did in it and takes her in for questioning.

I dont see why the police would have had to pull her for a traffic offence to suddenly realise she is (supposedly) an illegal immigrant - its hardly a secret, now is it...

The story just doesnt make much sense at all, dont know why i expect any different from the Sun, why she signed to them i do not know, they seem to be intent on making trouble for her.

Well, that's the sun for you, they don't seem to have any loyalty to anyone.

This seems a bit of a coincidence to me. Pulled over on a traffic offence. Then told to leave. mmmm

I take the view that it there is a conspiracy theory attached to the tale.

for example, what harm is she doing? she isnt claiming any benefit, not preaching hate or committing any crime!

Trouble is we don't know the full facts, it all sounds dodgy though. Wasn't she supposed to not be wearing a seat belt or something. As for the visa thing, who know's ${

It's been reported on ITV teletext thatBB contestant Makosi Musambasi has been given notice by immigration officals to quit Britain. The 24 year old had her working visa curtailed after leaving her job as a nurse to be on the show. She has ten days to lodge an appeal and must leave or be deported if she fails.

Makosi questioned by immigration officials over whether she had broken the terms of her visa.
She had previously been granted a working visa for her job as a cardiac nurse at Wycombe Hospital, Bucks.

Her spokesman said: “The legal position is that Makosi’s working visa has now been curtailed, which means she has to either leave the country or appeal.”

Makosi had consulted an immigration lawyer as soon as she left the Big Brother house, he added.

Makosi, who finished third in the reality show, told The Sun newspaper that she felt “betrayed” after she was released from custody.

She said: “I don’t know what crime I’ve committed. I’d love to keep living in England but just don’t know what’s happening.

“I feel I’ve been used for entertainment and now am being betrayed.” breakingnews

They'll prob take ages tho. I can't see it lasting only 10 days. My ex bf overstayed his visa. (He worked 55 hours a week and never claimed a benefit in his life). In the end they told him to go back to Istanbul and re-apply for his visa there or he might be deported. Rather than face that humiliation he went back to do that but his appeal was turned down. However he was seeing solicitors for 6 years before this happened. There is no chance that this process will take 10 days! That's just ridiculous!

She must have known that if she left her job as a nurse she could be kicked out. She's so thick ${ I suppose it didn't say you could stay if you went on Big Brother. Thing is though they'll kick her out, to set an example. It's a pity she's so arogant about it all, it doesn't help and won't help an appeal and she lies about so much anyway that no one will believe her now. That's the trouble with being on Big Brother if you don't play it right :-?
