Looks like the Big Brother girls are well and truly back to reality. Makosi has been arrested and threatened with deportation following a breach of her visa terms, while Orlaith has been terrified by an obsessive stalker.

Cripes.

Multi hairpieced Makkers has been taken in by police after it emerged that she was staying in the country illegally after breaking the conditions of her visa, which allowed her to stay in the UK as long as she worked as a nurse.

The nurse obviously thought she was beyond the long arm of the law, and shouted: ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ as she was led away. The problem was they knew exactly who you were, Makkers…

Meanwhile things aren’t going great for BB drop-out Orlaith either, as she is being stalked by an obsessed fan who is infatuated her. He approached her at a London club, leaving her in tears as she partied with ex-housemates Anthony and Craig.

A friend of the ‘banana footed’ one said: ‘This guy has freaked Orlaith out. He seems to know everywhere she’s going. He’s always there’. Looks like the curse of Big Brother has struck the BB girls already.

The thing about the Big Brother (especially BB5 and BB6) is that very few of the housemates have a following after the series is over. You're really only interesting in the context of the house, and the way you interact with the other HMs. And in the way you are filmed 24/7.

Those who try to go out and behave like A list celebs are cruising for a pretty mighty bruising of the ego.

Well as your sig shows, thoughs that do pop Idol and Fame Academy at least have a profesion to trade on rather than just being a well know guinea pig.

Glad to see old Anslie is still on going, my fav of the following year was Alister, (hey i never said i had good taste in music) ::lol::

Hehe, blags...

I was completely addicted to FA1. Lemar has done ok for himself, and David and Ainslie are in bands now. Malachi has a new album coming out in the next few weeks - this time in the Irish folk/traditional style, which is much better for him.

Fame Academy was a different beast to Big Brother. The first series was really innovative, I think.

i miss FA ,, logging onto the RED channel on the BEEB and watching them rehearse. Yea lemar did well despite FA, cant say i liked him then, where as Anslie and Malchi made for funny late night viewing, back when they actualy where allowed on the balconies ....

theres a whisper that there will be another celebe FA ,, shame they cant do the whole thing, i blame Sting for complaining about the noise the old git   ::lol::

The place they used for the last Celeb Academy would do, I suppose. I liked that version too - but FA 1 was the best. The live feed for it was the best too, and the students got on so well together that it was fun and good craic to watch. Also, you had the wee menu options for videos of the day's events, or news, or time-tables, etc.

I also preferred the students doing the Friday night shows in Shepperton rather than the Academy itself. MUCH more sense of occasion.
