Most Housemates who are the first to leave the Big Brother House are forgotten within days, but not Mary.

The psychic lass, who claims she's been abducted by aliens several times, made one of the most memorably House entrances, draped in a cape and clutching a broomstick.

And in just one week in the House she argued, went a bit loopy and had a fantastic gothic birthday party.

But what's next for Mary?

We chatted to her at the recent launch of the Big Brother book Access All Areas, where she was looking lovely in green and gossiping cheerily with a bouncy Kinga.

And although she was in a cheery mood, it seems not all is well in Mary's camp since Big Brother and she has found it difficult to get work.

"I want to act," Mary told us, "but it's very hard to get work."

Mary also revealed several people have asked her why she did the show in the first place as they believe it could have hindered her acting ambitions.

But it's not all bad news. Mary does have an agent who believes the future is bright for the woman who claims she comes from Atlantis.

Marked in my book as "Housemate with most potential evicted too soon".

Although I did have my concerns that she would struggle in that house, she was in a different league to the other housemates.

As noted in the post 'what they did next' show, Mary made it clear that witchy things meant nothing to her.

Just a fake, and from her short moment on that post bb show, she sucks at acting......badly.

Agreed, Calrissian.

And your point is? Was there more than a miniscule fistful of housemate that wasn't fake this year?

I would guess that eleventy percent of them are now confidently adding "jobbing actor" to their CV's. Doesnt mean she wouldn't have been fun to watch.

I liked Mary

must admit, Mary was my fav to win, although she fell at first hurdle... pity, wouldve been interesting to see how she wouldve developed....

I liked Mary too, but clearly...as she herself noted...it was 'an act'. As some might remember, she didn't have a clue how to play the game though..and even got booed on the way in.

If it wasn't for the gnomes, people would have liked her even less.
