Derek Laud is teaming up ex tory health minister Edwina Curry on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. They hope to raise cash for the National Children's Home and the DogsTrust. The Saturday celeb specials are on ITV1 on September 17 and 24.

Lets hope they do not end up with egg on their faces......

I don't really watch "Who Wants To Be A Millionnaire ?" these days but I think that will be an interesting one and could see Derek doing really well. :D

I feel he should do well as he is well read and would know about the arts, history and politics.

he may struggle with modern entertainment etc.

I'd p**s myself laughing if he was hopeless on this show, it would be an absolute howl if he didn't get very far. For the way he went on in the house, and if he didn't get very far on this show, this would make him look incredibly stupid.

I'm not reading anyone else's posts on this yet (don't want to be influenced)...

so this is how I see it...

When they Chris called out Derek's name, I cheered...because I said ' better a bad BB person, than a non-BB person - he's one of us'.

And I was pleased that he'd got himself this 'profile'..

But since he's been on...his superior and smug attitude has made me want to puke. He's saying how he wanted to go on BB to see how he could get on with people - and they were 'very odd'. Yes, maybe, but what makes him think he's in any way superior?

Oh, I should have known better...
