I love the irony of Piers Morgan presenting a programme regarding people that appear to be famous for no particular reason

i thought at his day at the mirror him and victoria beackham were friends, having looked at sky news, not so much of the case now..

Victoria Beckham has been voted the nation's most pointless celebrity.
The former Spice Girl topped a poll of viewers who were left asking: "What is she for?"


In a further blow for the Beckham brand, husband David came second.

The survey was for Channel 4 show The Death of Celebrity, presented by former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan.

The programme wages war on celebrities who are famous despite having little or no talent.

Jordan is at number three, followed by Abi Titmuss.

Prime Minister Tony Blair comes in at number five.

Jade Goody is at number six, having forged a career and made millions from appearing on Big Brother.

At No 9, the top 10 list includes everyone who has ever appeared on the reality show.

The Royal Family are also deemed pointless celebrities, making it to number seven.

Glamour girl Jodie Marsh is at number eight, while David Beckham's former PA Rebecca Loos - now milking her fame after claiming to have bedded the England captain - brings up the rear at number 10.

I agree about Victoria but i wouldnt say DAvid was a "pointless" celeb.
HE's an amazing footballer and manager of England so thats not really pointless.
Id have put Jodie or Jade at the top!

I saw a commercial and he goes up to Max and Saskia and says "does it bother you that you have no talent!" i dont like either of them but that was quite harsh!

Tony Blair is a pointless celebrity? Well to start off with he is running the country so that seems pretty meaningful to me - whether you agree with the way he does it or not.

Who on earth comes up with these totally 'pointless' polls anyway?

I agree, I don't think David Beckham is pointless. Pretty gutted that some of my pals appear to be more pointless than that Loos.e woman though, gotta admit.

Morgan is pretty appaling.

I bet he will be poking fun at people who hog the limelight, but he is just as bad as he wants his face everywhere.

BTW he insults Max/Saskia on the show, which is no bad thing.
