The three put on the bench are there because they were late arriving to get the coach for Newcastle.

I hope Anthony stays and gets the chance to prove himself as a good footballer. I'm sure he'd be gutted to leave.

The number to ring is 090149 01601 or text "Match Anthony 83088" to save Anthony

Your right, Sam is the lad in Coronation Street

Jim Alexander was apparently in Dream Team but he is a goalkeeper and Graham Taylor did say today that he needs to lose a goalkeeper so it could be him that goes. As long as its not Anthony I don't really mind!

It will mean so much to Anthony to play at Newcastle United and I really hope he gets the chance to show off his footballing skills. It would be such a shame to leave because he was late for the coach and not because his footballing skills were not up to scratch.

I was surprised that those three were up - I would have thought that Graham Taylor would have picked the three who he thought were the worst three players (I was hoping that Steve Brookstein would be on the bench, and honestly thought he would be). Having said that, it was very rude of the three of them to keep the others waiting for so long. Anthony is so lucky to be there, and he should remember that. I doubt that he'll be the first one off - I think Jim Alexander might be off first.

Celebrities taking part in the new series of The Match, including Big Brother winner Anthony Hutton, kicked off their training schedule yesterday with a dip in the North Sea.

The first episode of the Sky One reality show, which pits a band of celebrities against a team of former footballing greats, was aired last night.

It showed the squad meeting up in London on Saturday and travelling together to Newcastle.

Anthony, from Consett, delayed the squad's departure after sleeping in and faces eviction at the first hurdle in tonight's episode.

The celebrity squad of 21 managed by Graham Taylor will be whittled down to a final team of 11, who will play against a veteran side of footballing greats at St James's Park next Sunday.

The celebrities' coach and former Watford striker Luther Blissett yesterday put them through their paces on the beach at Tynemouth.

An onlooker said: "Luther Blissett is a tough coach. He really made them sweat.

"After doing some ball work and sprints he closed the session by ordering his squad to run into the sea.

"At first some of them thought he was joking and tried to laugh it off, but he was having none of it."

Ant looked gutted.

Its a great show, but I dont think that the game will
be as close as last year as the celebs do not have a proper goalkeeper this year.

I think the legends will walk it this year. It was a bit embarrassing for them last year, and they won't want a repeat performance.

Anthony survived the vote, but I was surprised that Sam went. He was the only one who apologised to Graham for being late as well!

Happy for Anthony that he survived the vote. Sad for Sam that he went as I thought he was a good player and they need to lose a goalkeeper.

It looks like some of the lads are teasing Anthony about Craig which must make it uncomfortable for him

Anthony Hutton, the winner of the recent sixth instalment of Big Brother, has proved he has been gravely scarred by his homosexual stalker and former BB housemate Craig Coates.

Ant has been trying his hand in the latest reality TV / football show, The Match, which airs on Sky One, but his fellow celeb contestants have been winding him up by telling him that Craig, who developed an unhealthy infatuation for Ant, is on his way to spectate.

TV stars such as Royal Family actor Ralf Little, former Hollyoaks man Will Mellor, and presenter Jonathan Wilkes have all been mocking Ant but it appears their jokes are actually now mentally unsettling the affable Geordie.

During trials to make the grade to play against a team of football legends at St James' Park, Mellor shouted: "Watch out Ant. Craig's right behind you!"

This severely shook the BB winner up, who required time away from training to calm down from the fright, before Little then later shouted to him: "Here comes Craig. He's after your a**e!"

Cue a second genuine expression of horror from Ant and a nervy, edgy completion of football trials.

A show insider summed up Ant's confused state of mind, telling the Daily Star: "It was his worst nightmare!"

The mole added: "The lad had no idea that Craig wasn’t really in Newcastle but he just didn’t know what to do or who to believe."

How come if Anthony so worried about seeing Craig, that they've done photoshoots together, and have been seen out and about together so much?

Has anyone seen recent photos of them together? I saw a few post eviction awards show type things where they were, but none for quite a while now.

Very happy for Anthony that he has made the team for Sunday. The smile on his face showed how much it means to him

Craig and Anthony did a photoshoot for OK magazine together about three weeks ago. Its rumoured that Craig is going to watch Anthony play on Sunday.
