Last year's Big Brother winner, Nadia Almada, is quitting the UK because she thinks we are all obsessed with her sex change.

The reality show winner is moving to the US because she is apparently suffering from severe depression.

And to make things worse, she was recently asked in the loo of a London club why she wasn't using the gents.

Nadia recently had a spell in the Priory following a disastrous appearance on Australia's Big Brother.

The housemates Down Under guessed her sex swap secret within hours of her entering the house.

Poor Nadia. Shes got tragic heroine written all over her, that one.

"I vant my zigarettes!" "I vant to be alone" "I vant, I vant, I vant..., thats all we ever hear from you!" Sorry, slipped into my mothers body for a second there.

Seriously. Being a celebrity has its perks, I have no doubt, but not if you have a single skellington in your closet because you can't ever escape it.

IMO, the only one obsessed with her sex change is Nadia.

Agreed (for once ) Madeline. Nadia is very arrogant to think many people waste time in thinking about her at all.

Hope she is getting help.

Maybe she will be better off in the U.S.

It must have been a big decision for Nadia to actually go through and take part in the programme, if the warnings we got before BB4 are anything to go by. There is the 'talk of doom' by the producers which highlights many of the pitfalls that can be encountered and certainly by the fifth series most of these must have been experienced by at least some of the housemates.

It must be an awful thing to have thought at the time that it was going to be worth it and then to regret it - it must be absolutely terrible.

Of course, media attention in whatever form can be a downside, depending on how pro- or against- a particular housemate it turns out to be. And of course, media swing and public opinion (chicken and egg) are as fickle as (some) housemates themselves...

I'm felt uncomfortable for Nadia throughout the BB5. So much of what was said IN the house must have been painful for her, and although she won the show, there were always going to be people on the outside who would give her a dreadful time of it.

Nadia needed help years ago - when all the ideas of sex-change first arose. Either she is desparate for publicity (probably) or she did not have good councelling in the first place - quite likely.

ps. I have no problem with her sex-change at all - It is her personality I do not like - but as has already been said the only person obsessed with her sex-change in herself. A quiet life settling for being accepted by her friends and family would surely have been better for her than publicity and national tv.
