People across the county dug deep yesterday to raise thousands of pounds in support of Children in Need.
With hundreds of events in schools, community centres, pubs and offices, the day saw everything from the staple leg-waxing, head shaving and sitting in baths of beans to more weird and wacky ideas.
Highlights in Norwich included fitness freaks getting their own back on their gym instructor, an obstacle race showdown between the Evening News and Radio Broadland and a puppetry display for children.
The fund-raising drew to a close with an obstacle race in the Forum, hosted by Channel 4's Big Brother star
Craig Coates.
The hairdresser from Cromer compered the proceedings, included races between Norfolk Fire Service and Norfolk Constabulary, the Norfolk Air Cadets and the Norfolk Sea Cadets and BBC Radio Norfolk against the Evening News.
