The CPS have dropped the alleged case of 'rape' on Lesley, due to lack of evidence.

I'm not surprised its been dropped- she prejudiced the case by blabbing to the papers.

If I was in her position, Id want to keep this private, not blaze it across tabloid newspapers.

Endemol have alot to answer for with regards to h/ms from BB6. Most of them belong in mental institutions, not on telly

If she only did this "last week", and was rushed off and put on a suicide watch in a psychiatric ward, whats she doing out and about and giving newspaper interviews? Shouldnt she be being assessed and taken care of and counselled and that sort of stuff?

And whilst it might be deemed "newsworthy" by newspapers, I'd argue its irresponsible to be following up this story so soon after she is supposed to have done this. If being in the media has led her to this level of desperation, why are her family, and the newspapers still taking part in the story trading?

No-one deserves to be raped, but she has made a great deal of a mockery of her case by telling her story in the paper before it came to court and even now, selling the story that she was so desperate afterwards that she was about to top herself. Its just warped.

Does Lesley live at home now?

not just BB6 contestants! Also I think there is more and more hype surrounding the contestants now they are almost famous before they go in! bring back the days when the housemates just walked in without a big deal about it. I think BB1 was so low key it was barely noticed. It has become less and less about BB and more about who can behave in the most outrageous way now. I would imagine there are few people who really understand how BB could change them no matter how much they might be warned. I think the media have much to answer for too

i think the bb6 housemates have come out of it the worst.
You have orlaith and Sam who are willing to flash their bits to anyone offering a bit of cash,
Then you've got Mary and Lesly who have come out of the show with depression and several other disorders.
Then you have kinga and kemal that are soo desperate for fame they make up some fake "relationship"
Then theres Craig and Makosi who were very odd
I think the producers really did pick the wrong housemates for bb6 as a lot of them seem mentally unstable.

Before I start I need to say that I'm not picking on you, triptap. You have highlighted some very valid points in relation to several housemates and wisely included the word "seem" in there too.

I often think that 'political correctness' is a lot of baloney and I consider large chunks of it largely unnecessary. All I would say here (and in a number of other threads which are current) is that we should be careful when referring to mental instability. We might want to think about being sensitive to the fact that often it's not a particular housemate's fault that they behave in a particular way.

The selection process is wide open for criticism of course. And credit - where credit's due.
