SO YOU THINK YOU KNOW YOUR PARTNER?
12:00 - 22 January 2007
Well here's your chance to prove it!
The Evening Express is today launching a Valentine's competition to find the ultimate Mr and Mrs in the North-east.
With the help of former Big Brother star and our columnist
Cameron Stout, we will be putting couples to task on just how well they know each other.
Armed with questions based loosely on the hit game show which was launched on television in the late 1960s, Cameron will be visiting couples in their homes, workplaces or anywhere else he can track them down.
All the entrants have to do is answer a few simple questions - and hope their partner gets them right too!
Couples of all ages can enter and you can take part regardless of whether you are married, engaged or even if you have just met your match.
Cameron's mission, when he begins his search, will be to find the pair of lovebirds who know each other best.
All you have to do is enter, or be nominated, and you could scoop the title of Evening Express Mr and Mrs 2007 - and walk away with an armful of prizes, including a fabulous free trip to Venice!
And we're not the only one's who are fired up about this contest - the popular host who fronted the smash-hit game show, Derek Batey, today called on Evening Express readers to take part.
He said: "What an absolutely brilliant idea!
"Go on folks, get entering. I'll guarantee everyone will have loads of fun."
Our eventual winners will jet off for a romantic long weekend in the gorgeous, gondola-city of lovers - and they will win £500 in spending money and a digital camera.
We will also be giving away Upstarts! Limited Mr & Mrs box games. The main man for our Valentine's competition - our very own Casanova Cameron Stout - can't wait to get started.
For the past two years he's been the very special Valentine for hundreds of lucky ladies in his search for the Golden Rose.
This year the men of the North-east will also take part in our unique test of romance.
We want to find out which couples in the area know each other best - their habits (good and bad), their likes and dislikes. In other words everything only a partner could know.
Starting on Monday, February 5, Cameron will spend a week out and about all over the North-east tracking down our Mr and Mrs contenders.
Cameron will be asking the vital questions which will put couples through to the final of our competition.
Then he will choose the sweethearts who he thinks would make the perfect Mr and Mrs.
Cameron said: "This is an absolutely brilliant competition.
"I can't wait to get out and about asking all these questions.
"It will be loads of fun and the more people who enter the better."
Derek added: "I hope hundreds of couples have a try.
"A few years ago I came to Aberdeen to do the show on stage. It was great.
"I used to find younger couples knew each other best.
"Older ones no longer noticed the other one's habits so much!
"So if you want Cameron to turn up to ask you, your friends, relatives or workmates the questions - get nominating fast.
"See if couples really know each other as well as they think."

I'm glad they've published it today cos I was told about it by someone "involved" the other day and was tempted to post but thought I maybe shouldn't!
