Ulster celebrity couple Orlaith McAllister and Gary McCausland last night described their joy at the arrival of the new addition to their family.

Little baby Eva was born at the Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea hospital at 1.03pm last Friday and weighed in at 6lbs 10oz. Both mother and baby are reported to be doing well.

It has emerged that the Big Brother star's property developer boyfriend was about to go live on Sky TV's Poker Channel seconds before Orlaith went into labour.

One frantic phone call later and Gary rushed from the studio to be at Orlaith's side.

Baby joy for Ulster celebs

Former Big Brother inmate Orlaith McAllister and property mogul, come presenter Gary McCausland have just had a baby girl.

Little Eva was born in Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, London weighing six pounds and ten ounces.

The Tyrone developer is said to be "over the moon to now have two beautiful girls in his life."

The couple met last year during Belfast Fashion Week and now live in London.

Flamboyant McCausland is the presenter of Channel 5`s How to be a Property Developer.

Belfast born Orlaith was runner up to Zoe Salmon in 1999`s Miss Northern Ireland Contest and continues to model.
