SPARKS could fly as the 12 Apprentice contestants are reunited at a special after-show party for tonight's finale.
The winner will finally be announced after a nail-biting final episode featuring a host of big names, including model Andrea Roche, DJ and former Big Brother contestant Ray Shah and Assets babe Jenny Lee Masterson.
But more important it's the night that the 12 hopeful Apprentices will be reunited for the first time since the popular show aired.
And sparks are set to fly between outspoken Mark O'Rourke and his former rival on the show Joanna Murphy when they come together at a special 'You're hired' party in Krystle nightclub.
warning
Fresh from a week's volunteering with the Niall Mellon Township Trust in South Africa, Mark flew back to Dublin this weekend to ensure he would make it to the party. However, the aspiring business man had a stark warning for controversial Joanna, who was notoriously booted out of the show for cheating.
He told the Diary: "I think she would be best off to stay at home for the night.
"No-one wants to see her and we all feel that she's not welcome to come after stabbing us in the back.
"I don't think she'd have the nerve to show up and if she does I'm going to find it very hard to restrain myself from throwing the champagne bucket of ice over her head
"I think you could definitely be expecting some fireworks if we're both there," he added.
But a defiant Joanna said she wouldn't miss it for the world, branding Mark "a bully".
"Mark can attempt to bully me all he likes but I've been invited and I've accepted so I'll be there. Mark bores me to tears and I have no plans to go anywhere near him, I'll just talk to the people I want to talk to because believe it or not we do actually have a nice little cross-section of people who get on.
"I hope the knives won't be out at Krystle but in saying that they easily could be if Mark brings them out," she added.
Support
And if there is any aggro at the party this evening Joanna won't be looking to Apprentice bosses Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin for support.
"I wouldn't expect them to get involved; I don't even know if they're going to be there.
"I'm just concentrating on having a good night and not any trouble that there might be right now.
"I've got a lovely dress from one of my local boutiques and I can't wait to head out there later and show it off," she added.
War of words begins as Apprentice rivals prepare for partyApparently, Ray was involved in the final task on the Irish apprentice on TV3. The finalists had to contact a 'celeb' to help them sell as many gadgets from a 3G mobile store in an hour.
