Hi BB4,

The channels sound interesting.

Yes the mods as still having bouts of deleting messages ,some of which aren't always obvious as to why they had been deleted and some people are getting banned. But mostly it the same people and for similar reasons.They don't like blatent advertising of fan sites and will remove them from signitures. But some have been banned for trying to promote their sites.
I think C4 is the only forum where there they don't ask for the URL of your sites during registration to allow someone to find the info without you having to post the info. And as the producers like checking Fan Sites whilst the show is running it seems a strange state as it would help them find out what is being said about them easier. But there are always some who go too far and then get banned.
It would be constructive if warnings were given so that some have the chance to change they ways ,plus some explanation for some of the deletions. But overal most of them are a good bunch on there. There are alot now from the salon recently moved in who seem quite different to the die hard BB fans.

One BB website is reporting a rumour that E4 will not be relaying the BB feed this year, with the possibility of a satellite/cable pay channel being used instead? Guess they are going for the most outlandish rumour of the year award ?

One thing I am getting annoyed about, during my travels through the boards, is that those using CJB for hosting are giving me a new home page - if I'm not careful. I hate this type of activity and may even remove those sites from my list. Pop-ups are annoying at the best of times, those which change your computer settings are most unwelcome...

But do we believe The Sun ?
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,4-2003191077,00.html

They say TEN housemates will enter the house and a further FOUR will be on standby in 'The Attic' (a secret location, nearby). We get to swap the boring ones out and replace them with a standby...?

They also say Jade and Kate will be guests - suppose that's possible.

We're going to hear some really wacky ideas in the next 3 and a bit weeks!

If this attic rumour is true, then won't it mean that BB will last for longer this year? If 10 housemates go in, and 1 goes in the first week, another will replace him/her. This will go on for 4 weeks! It must be gonna last longer.

I suppose that depends on whether than need to replace four people .
If they are replaced additionally from the normal evictions then it won't affect the normal running of the program.
But the application forms only said to be available for 10 weeks ,I would have thought if they had planned for it to run longer it would have appeared there first .

Remember the key wording is that only 10 HM will enter the house and they will spring surprise evictions to remove the boring ones which would surgest that it might be seperate to normal evictions.

Not long now before we see what actually happens.

More on The Attic and evictions (but remember, it's all rumour!)

So - 10 people go into the house and 4 hide in 'The Attic'. BB announces nominations, public vote, one HM leaves - and TWO HM's are added to the main house from the Attic ! That's IF the Attic bit is true, and I guess this story is speculation on what might happen - but it's an interesting twist.

Thinking about it - the maths are then correct to tie in with the full series, start with 10, lose 1, add 2 - so the total would have been 12 HM's, after 1st eviction there would have been 11 left - which is what they've then got. ()^

Someone on the C4 forum has 'announced' one of the contestants as Tim from Guildford, age 20. People in that forum are now slagging the poster off - mainly to accuse them of lying, but also some saying that posting that info will have blown that person's chances of being in the house now as any 'leak' will stop them being a HM.

Then again, what's to stop 'Tim' from posting that info himself, in the hope the newspapers will find him and splash him on the front page... Nice bit of self promotion ? ${

Wonder if there's any truth in the rumour that one HM lost her chance because she had to admit her pics had appeared in a 'mens' magazine...?
Seems she didn't know that her boyfriend had sent them in ! :oops:

Darned rumours !! ::lol::

Word is that prospective housemates were only asked to keep 10 weeks free, so it does not seem likely they'll go 12 weeks. C4's BB site is geared up for 64 days only.

You can check if there's anything 'new' on C4's BB site by modifying the last few digits of the URL. I've turned up pages that were never published doing that !
http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/B/bigbrother/news/story_0001.html is the start, and (at the time of typing this) goes up to 0052, the Les Dennis the Menace story.

The C4 site is getting ready, 'cos they've started having annoying pop-ups when you go there.

I only heard it from some jurnos that work at C4, they were speculation about whether it would mean that more people would be voted in ala josh. Hence an extra 2 weeks would be needed to vote more people out.

I doubt that was the name of a housemate. We had a Tim last year, and I know they say it doesn't matter about your name, but I think it would as Tim last year was so popular because no one liked him.

Following legal advice (I called my solicitor and his answering machine advised me he's not there but to leave a message) and extensive research (I looked up how to spell extensive), todays rumours have been withdrawn from circulation (because there are none going around) ${

It's a sad day for BB Fans when there is nothing to report on what may or may not happen in the house - I look forward to the latest snippets and I'm sad that I can't find any today... :zzz:

Sorry - I promise to try harder but it's not worth mentioning the latest from the C4 forum, or what's appeared on other fan boards as nobody is being very inventive at present. :-(

The highlight of the day has been a cyber cream puff from LesleyUK ! {@}

A posting on the C4 forum suggests that housemates will each be given a T shirt to wear on leaving the house. The item links to a rather poor AOL homepage where someone has quickly created what I take to be a spoof story. See what YOU think...

Well at least we won't have the ''oh what shall I wear on eviction night now I've put on soooo much weight'' problem!
