TV ratings for Big Brother have fallen greatly since the launch show last Friday night.

Channel 4 believes that this is down to stiff competition from the other major TV channels and points out that their own audience share is well up whenever BB is broadcast ! Nothing to do with boring HMs having been selected!

Its just a shame Enditall stuck with the safe hands of a Brownnoser rather than creative hands of an imaginative producer.
The format was and still is ripe for new grounds in broadcasting styles but alas we get stuck with mind numbing bland bullshit more aimed at the tabloids and column inches than at the very people keeping them in a job.
They say Chris Evans is washed up but at least he has the balls to try something new and then something newer rather than rehash the same old drivel every time.

aye agree with that last comment... surely if noise was going to be an issue with the neighbours then the maintenance and the construction of the house wouldn't go ahead.. never mind eviction nights etc. It seems petty.

I actually do think the housemates this year are OK - it just might take longer than usual for them to spring into action, but with the format it's bound to happen. I think if we stick with it the actual show will be OK, whether it will carry on as usual next year i'm not so certain..

Well said ! We've seen so many good ideas in international versions of BB yet our lot seem to lack the imagination &/or guts to try anything exciting!

Plus Big Brother is channel 4's highest rating show ever! I sh*t you not!

Its simple, there is only so many times you can tune in to a Star Wars conversation. Nevermind a conversation about Quasars and Black Holes. We dont watch Big Brother for this, get him out before we are all doomed.

i also have heard they r thinking of doing a teen bb...for teenagers to applie and go in the house...they said they think it would be sucessful becoz alot of under age peeps want to go in the house!!!
