They are really not the right mix of people as others have said - they haven't lived life to any extent so have little to bring to the party so to speak - I remain hopeful it will pick up but I'm not sure... :-?

I personally believe that as this is the fourth one it is perfectly possible for them to never come out of their shells.

As they got through the auditions they will have had time to psyche themselves up for this and to examine tapes of previous BB's for what not to do.

I do think it will be possible for the housemates to come through all their weeks without rocking the boat at all. After all they have a lot to lose, look at the press coverage last year. They have the comforting thought of a fortune to come out to if they all keep their heads and don't stir up trouble.

anoushka. S'got charm. the kind that only someone who'se got just come out of their teens can have. It's not particularly attention seeking. I think its just a bit of a showmanship-thing. She is not doing a Dean with his guitar kind of blatancy. I think she acts very natural. Whatever she's doing is just her. Thats how she is. Some may have a [strong?] dislike to whatever she is. Disastrous, I think if she goes. Would be boring without her. Might as well go watch something else, even those who love to hate her. With live coverage and not much happening in this phase, we need everything to keep it interesting. Everyones got an opinion of her, whether its good or bad.

Ray is fit. Bet he has less than 20% body fat. I mean Fed maybe as lean looking but muscle tone is much better with Ray. Gym is one of the things he said he'd miss most. 50% food budget is going to help that lean body mass ratio. Especially if the tasks are more of 72 hour pedalling kind. And the odd kind HM who forgets they're in the middle of their first task to go get some chewing gum (chewing gum?). Surely makes him a contender for eviction. Surely.

I mean at a time when its bland leading the bland, dont he stick out for being extra bland? He's been quite too quiet. If his contributing had been noteworthy, then task-failing would be like, 'anyone can make a mistake'. Should've got stuck-in more. And listened to Anoushka when she tried to warn him not to leave the pedallo.

Task was a good one, I think. Helped them bond cos they had to be in pairs. Upset their sleep cycles. Makes things more interesting. And add to the chaotic fun atmosphere too.

More tasks during the day. Especially ones that make them interact with each other. Its no fun watching them laze around all day. 'Less it was in the sun like today. Makes it more memorable .

I like Jon's attitude. He is not attention-seeking. Or approval-seeking. In fact from what he said to the psychologist ( and the press), definitely seems a memorable character. Most people seem to have an opinion about him too. Should stay in. He is slightly rebellious. Not like Sandy kind of rebellion. More like Cool hand luke, off-hand, calm, collected. He is getting involved, but remains aloof. Okay his Star Trek recounting was banal, but it is interminably long watching HMs doing nothing all day.Warming to him. I like the way he is playing the game. Some of the others seem like they are house-sitting a rich someone's house. Lounging about. Doing nothing. Stick a camera at them and how interesting would that be? Thats how some of the others are acting. Definite need for more tasks. Well thought out ones. Wasted oppurtunity here. Burning daylight as they say.

Was impressed that Scott had written a play for Radio 4.

Justine. Well, she's a bit of a dark horse. Worth watching. Even if is only because of being a love interest to another HM. She has just got out of a relationship. Is she going on rebounding around the male housemates?

Gonna gather my thoughts on Nush and the rest.

BBFans is a zillion times more entertaining, interesting and unmissable than the programme it is dedicated to.

How funny is that?

Even funnier is that whatever it is thats out here can be in there as well.

In fact I think thats what we subconsciously want to see. The producers dont know how to setup whats going on in the house to make it more viewable.

Reality doesnt necessarily mean treating the housemates like some sort of wildlife documentary. Just point cameras at them and let nature take its course. There are times when 'managing' whats happening inside the house is needed.

I am going to sit on the fence for a little while longer, I like to feel pain.
I do find Federico and Anuska annoying at the moment but that could change. I think Jon is very dry and so what he likes sci-fi

True.

Cosy-rosy aint all that.

And pain isnt entertaining or informative.

We need more of whats happening inside the HMs revealed.

We have to be careful not to evict an HM just cos we dont like them. While we still have all the HMs to choose from.

Jon and Sissy are doing it for me, and I see a lot of potential in the ex Grange Hill cast member Scott, although he did break up a possible bitching on last nights highlights, why so nice to Fed. Note to the HM's - He blew it for you all.
