You have my deepest sympathy-7years is a long time to waste on a total drongo. My suggestion for revenge might sound strange but what would really confuse him would be for you to be HAPPY for him-just don't show you give a damn-
The closest emotion to love [and you think you love him don't you?] is hate-but indifference [or APPEARING to be indifferent] will be the greatest revenge- he will EXPECT you to be gutted-but if you pretend your not just think what a let-down that would be for his ego.
On the other hand-a knife and the word BOBBIT comes to mind!!

Just have pity for the poor girl whose going to get herself shackled to him-at least you know what he is-and she obviously does'nt!!
I know you are hurting and it's early days-but in the not-so-distant future you will look back and breathe a sigh of relief that you found out his true nature in the nick of time-the old metaphor 'a leopard does not change its spots' springs to mind don't you think?? He found it hard to commit for all that time and it seems he's getting married on a whim - who can say what he'll be up to in a year's time- maybe committment to married life might be difficult for him too.
You said your relationship had been 'on-off' over the past 7 years - You must have some backbone to stay the course and in the long-run I don't think you could have had peace of mind during all those years-wondering if the relationship was going to stay 'on' or not. At least now you can start fresh and ENJOY YOURSELF!!!
