I've thought this loads of times but when we complain that we are not enjoying big brother and there are people every year (myself included this year) who say that it's rubbish.

I was just wondering what people actually want to see happen in the house.

For me I don't actually want to see arguments and people fighting but I cannot place exactly what I do want, I think romance is always interesting to watch although there won't be any this year because Anouska has been voted out.

Another thing I cannot place is why I like certain housemates more than others because I hated Jade last year for her in your face attitude and always speaking her mind but those are the exact reasons Anouska was my favourite this year and I also wouldn't usually like a housemate who mainly did nothing but thats also the exact reason Spencer was my favourite last year because he didn't act like he was "supposed" to.

Anyone want to add their own comments so I can understand myself a bit more.

Thanks 4 reading in.

Im looking for more interacting between the house mates...

They still tend to keep in there groupings of Male / females...

I too do not want fights etc but a few raised eye brows by some HM would bring a smile to my face...

Its been said before but it is early days and the latest task could bring with it a few cracks - specially if Fred lose's it again :D

Us BBfans dont want much - just a good laugh at others.

Each one of us have had a enjoyable moment from BB4 - and we want more of the same.

Thats true but its always harder to enjoy BB when your favourite gets voted out which has happened to me this year and last year, whats most annoying is that you know you will still watch it but it loses its spark that it had before.

GOOD:
Fights, back-stabbing, ill-feeiling, little Machiavellian conspriacies, all that kinda stuff. Genuinely funny stuff, usually unintentional on the part of the housemate, not the red-coat style forced jollity. Random/odd behaviour from housemates.

MMMM:
I can stand a little romance/daliances, but not too the extent of another painful Paul-n-Helen.

BAD:
Just reverse the GOOD stuff.

That's why I liked BB1 and BB3, but thought BB2 was a bit of a snooze.
BB4 may well pick up after the next nominations get everyone nice and paranoid.

What I liked from last year

funny stuff - Allison Breaking Table/ Alex - I'm not a professionaly chicken dryer
b*tching
arguments
Hiding from each other
Drunken Sillyness

Whats wrong with this year
Funniest Moment - I really cant think of one
No one to really like or hate (they are all very samey)
No Rows
No romance

It should get better but I definately don't think its been a funny this year :-?

Romance, some arguments (not as many as last year, and not as cruel as the bullying of Sophie), lots of drunken antics and seeing people slowly crack up!

Possible reasons.....Jade was acting nasty and being a bully, also was (let's be diplomatic) less attractive than Anouska, and was also irritatingly STUPID.

Lesleyuk:

Exactly

For these reasons, it seems that we all really want to see a bit of "energy" in the house, be it sexual or emotional.

And as Lesleyuk says, most of this years HMs seem so samey, all "ok" but hardly volatile or extreme.

Fed seems to stand out, whether you like him or not he gives some interest. If the likes of Scott, Justine, Steph, Cameron, Nush etc stay in, it'll just remain one big yawn. Who are these people, they just seem like they are "making up the numbers". Boring.

Tension and rivalry between the group, so yes probably arguments.

They didnt pick the right people though, as you said Scott, Justine, Steph, Cameron and Nush are dull. Its as if Fed is going to win, not on the basis that he is unfunny or funny but he has a personality.

There is no way on earth that someone has got paid to interview these people for weeks!!!! You could blindfold yourself and go into a city centre and pick 12 more interesting people in 1 minute.

Big Brother interviewers have let us down big time. I wasnt a fan of Jonny or Kate but they put these to shame.

Well if you want the arguing/backstabbing to commence then there is one way for that to happen and that is to allow people to talk about nominations that way the housemates would discuss whom they dislike openly to persuade others to follow their lead. You would then have housemates forming alliances more openly and the house would eventually become divided.

 Mind you big brother did say they can change the rules whenever it suited them. Who knows what may happen in the next few weeks.

Conflict. It's all down to conflict.

Sure its nice to see people sitting down talking about normal stuff, getting on. But conflict is another player.

Something I would like to find out in the future, is that one of the housemates is a mole: An agent put in there to be used in, say, a task at some point in the future. If BB had planned this at the start, it would give them something excellent to act on.

Another thing that would be good, is if they introduce another housemate at some point in the future. (Yes, for no reason). We saw the conflict that Tim's entrace caused in BB3. Why not play on something like that.

This is something that BB could do without question, and they themselves know how much this would brighten up the show, if they things are getting dull.

The show only survives because of the surprises, BB presents to the viewers. Like the bars, last year, and the secret hidden room this year, i have no doubt that another surprise is coming soon.
