Not being a fan of watching post stamp sized action I try to avoid the interactive 2 mini screen views on Sky, but to see what is happening you need to.

E4 have the HM gossiping and bitching in one room and use this as a second feed in preference to someone asleep under a duvet which they use as their main feed (the one that goes out full screen on E4).

Why they think broadcasting 30 minutes of a non moving duvet is going to be more exciting to watch than all the action that is going on at the same time in another room just has me flummexed.

Also the sound dipping thing has become more and more annoying, not because of the reasons E4 give for sound dipping which is understandable but because when watching the 2 mini screens which happen to be on the same feed, you get sound dipping on one but the exact same "scene" is not dipped on the second feed and then you discover that they are not talking about anything or anyone that would come under E4's explanation for why they dip the sound.

The amount of sound dipping that is done when there is no reason (you can hear the conversation that is dipped by viewing the 2nd feed)

The sound dipping is getting very annoying and half of the time I don't think it is for the reason they keep stating in their adverts.

Twice this morning, once when Ray was reading out the laminate from the diary room the sound dipped and just now when big brother was making an announcement over the speakers. Now how can either of these be for legal reasons.

I am starting to think that they think we are all stupid and won't notice.

I got annoyed at the nominations last week - E4 dipped the sound just as Jon's name was being read out - leading to some confusion as to who it was. I put the Internet feed on, same thing happened. I had to wait until C4 put the details up before I could be sure!
On BBLB, later that day, they showed the nominations and beeped out Job saying 'Oh Bloody Hell' - which they can't broadcast in peak hours.
My guess, and I'm not sticking up for the producers, is that something similar happened - swearing is quite common this year. Even Nush had an outburst during the Charades task, which WAS broadcast as it was after the watershed.
Ray and Scott use F every few words and don't realise!
