Aww...I don't like when people are driving only 50 km/h when the real limit is 80 km/h and you can't pass that car... :8o:

The insensitive and vindictive teacher who back in the spring, accepted a deposit from my daughter, for her year's first and only school trip abroad, but then two weeks later said 'no you can't go, we're over-subscribed and because you didn't work hard enough in school, I've decided to reject you'.

This was based on daughter's record for 2 terms of the 2006-2007 school year, and without any prior warning, or even a single chance to redeem herself in the final term, or during this current year, her hopes were dashed.

They said she wasn't cheeky or disruptive, but her work wasn't up to scratch. Something I accept, very much regret, but why take a deposit, and say 'you've got a place!' only to turn around two weeks later?

(I sent rather long letter at the time, and I'll give credit to the (silly) Principal - she did reply).

The school trip's been this past few days, and tomorrow, she has to go in and hear the 90 girls who went, speak about how it was undoubtedly the highlight of their 6 years in that school.

Had to rant here - am struggling!

'as we forgive those who trespass against us'....Arrgh...
