VIP BROTHER-2 IN BULGARIA TO TRY SETTING UP CALM ATMOSPHERE

The second VIP season of the reality show Big Brother will begin in Bulgaria in the end of March 2007.

Bulgarians celebrities will have to spend a month in a house together under camera surveillance. The preparation of the new season had already begun, avtora.com said.

This season’s concept will be ‘sunny’ atmosphere, unlike the first edition of the show when local celebrities quarreled all the time.

Producers will refrain from intentional confrontation of the roommates, avtora.com said.

Nikolai Nikolov, editor in chief of Vip Brother 2, said that the show producers conducted a poll among the TV audience in 2007 to find out which celebrities to invite in the second season.

Pop-folk singer Konstantin won the first season of Vip Brother in Bulgaria, competing against 11 other celebrities. He received a 50 000 leva award.

The contestants will live in an extremely luxurious house ('wet' bar, mini golf court, shower cabins on steam, warm-up and massage chairs).

In this edition we want to see how the roommates treat each other if they got no problems of life, told the organizers.

Our purpose is to become clear is the material stuff in the base of misunderstandings in one family or not?, said the main director of the reality show Nikolai Nikolov.

The House renovation cost the producers more than 100,000 BGN ( 50,000 EUR). The whole preparation was about 2 million BGN (1 mln EUR).

Who are the 12 participants that will start living together in the House will be known, tonight, March 26.

When the most recent season of Big Brother – the second VIP Brother programme with famous participants – went on air on March 26, more than two million people watched the show, Bulgarian news agency BTA reported.
