As long as everyone else recalls something George. I don't really care what you think to tell you the truth.

No I don't have to back myself up at every given oppotunity. I thin you actually need to sort it out, or do something productive. I say become a politician, you're about as annoying as one.

........come off it guys and gals - let's not be completely gullible!
The entire "popstars"audition procedure, is designed, not to weed out the talent, but to showcase and laugh at the deluded nutters, who currently are grabbing the headlines.(see "eye of the tiger" fruitcake.)
.......The "final 50" are pre-determined, prior to the televised auditions.
.........and as for "Girls Aloud", well......Nadine, originally, made the final selection fot "Irish Popstars",a couple of years back, but at the 11th hour, was rumbled by the judges, as being underage, and much to Louis Walsh's horror, had to be disqualified.
........Thus, her 100% guaranteed place, in the next UK series, when she was eligible.
....also, something to think about, for all you Girls Aloud fans-
What's going to happen to the "band" , when and if Cheryl, is banged up, for GBH, in October?

you are completely right adrain!

I think i have said somewhere before that i tried for pop idol. I gat through the producers but only just about theres a manager there that watches and he argued that i should get through! They only wanted the crap ones in and the cameras would only talk to them.

When i went to the judges Ant and Dec were really nice but you should have seen the proportion of idiots to talent!!

Its just corrupted and probably even more so this year than last as its not so fresh!

yeah i remember that A_L .... nadine had actually been told she was in the band and everything. then they were doing a short clip of each winner ... they had to state there name , where they were from and there date of birth ... she gave her proper date of birth by accident .... gripping TV !!! then they rang her father and he said he would bring up her pass port the next day (to prove she was over age _ ..... but then they all came clean .... so she missed out on being a part of the biggest musical sensation of the century .... FIVE (or was it SIX?).Instead ,as A_L says, she went on to even greater things with those musical geniuses girls aloud.

.....instead of watching 3rd rate karaoke singers, making idiots of themselves on prime-time t.v, go to a gig, near to where you live, and support, REAL upcoming talent. ()^

()^()^()^ agree 100% . these people are nothing more than karaoke singers ... and because of this i do find it amazing that people become over night fanatics of these singers. I must say i was happy when hear'say hit the floor .... although i did feel sorry for that welsh bloke in it ... he seemed fairly sound.

the point i was trying to make is that these bands that are assembled ... hear'say , six or five (or whatever digit it was ) , girls aloud etc are nothing more than karaoke singers in that they dont write any material .... they merely sing the songs they are told to by the management ... often times cover versions of old songs.
