The Nomination Episode

After James leaves the house, Will announces the last three evictions were his fault. He hopes the hamsters believe all the members of the jury house hate him, thus making him the best person to take to the end.

Will tells Janelle they are trying to get rid of Danielle. Will tells Danielle that ousting James was just business and is impressed by the cool way she handles this confession. Meanwhile, Erika tells Mike she wants to send Will to the Jury. Mike tries not to sweat as he explains how wrong that would be. Then they hop into bed. Ew. I laughed out loud when Erika interrupts their cuddling to say, "If I find out that you're playing me after this, I'll kick your ass." Ha ha ha, I bet Erika really could mess Mike up.

Sunday night in the Big Brother 7 All Stars house was one of the most dramatic nights in Big Brother history. Last night was one of the most boring.

Yesterday at the Power of Veto ceremony Janelle used the power to save herself and Erika replaced her with Danielle. Everyone in the house knows that Danielle is leaving Thursday.

Except Danielle. She has asked Mike and Will and they have both lied to her and told her she was safe. I would have thought Danielle was smarter than that. But she seems to believe them. Perhaps on some level she knows the truth.

Of course none of the hamsters know that someone else will be leaving Thursday night along with Danielle. My guess would be Erika. They never learn.

Will continued his conniving rampage by convincing everybody but Danielle to vote out the supposed Veto King, making him the third juror. In a bland, old, step-up for true, step-down for false competition, Erika emerged victorious. Who will she nominate? Can Will work his magic again?

Janelle Wins POV, Danielle Goes On The Block

After the nominations, Erika explains that she nominated Janelle because she’s trying to take out the competitors that she can’t beat. Chicken George laughs about how far Chill Town has made it in the game. Janelle tells Erika that if she wins power of veto and stays that she is not going after her but will go after Chill Town. Danielle tries to convince Erika that if they win power of veto that they should take off Chicken George and put Will up.

Week 9, Part 2: The Force is Strong with this Jedi

Janelle and George: two Big Brother contestants who couldn't be more further apart. But they've got two things in common: they've both been given Jedi training by Hurricane Howie; and tonight, they've both been nominated by reigning Head of Household Erika for eviction. Janelle was an obvious choice. She's put Erika up on the block before when she was Head of Household. By that standard, George's selection is also obvious, since he did the same thing to Erika during his (very brief) tenure in that office.

Neil Patrick Harris Visits 'Big Brother' Contestants

Neil Patrick Harris, star of the CBS comedy series How I Met Your Mother and an avid reality TV fan, will make a surprise visit to Big Brother: All-Stars on tonight’s episode.

Harris will drop into the house for "Christmas in August," a prize the houseguests won in Sunday's food competition. Harris' guest appearance will be broadcast tonight (8:00-9:00 PM, ET) on CBS.

On "Big Brother," contestants must compete against each other for a chance to win $500,000 in a house wired with cameras and microphones, capturing their every move for a TV and Internet audience.

Aw, it's Doogie Howser as Santa Claus. How can I resist an episode where Neil Patrick Harris and Dr. Will interact? You'd expect snark meets snark but Will is more smitten than I've ever seen him during any showmance. But who knew Neil Patrick Harris could do flips on a trampoline? As Will says, "First the trampoline, then Neil Patrick Harris, what's next, I'm going to win the show?" Maybe so, Dr. Botox, maybe so.

The Power of Veto Episode

So here's the deal: Danielle knows Chill Town has the whole house on lock, but she still wants the veto to be won, used and Will placed as the substitute nominee. Will knows Danielle is after him and he wants the veto to be won, used and Danielle to be placed as the substitute nominee. Janelle goes to Erika to beg and they end up striking an alliance but really Janelle is just part of Chill Town's plans to get Danielle nominated and out the door this week. Erika has no clue. She has a heart-to-heart with Danielle during which Dani swears on her kids that she wants Erika with her in the final two. She swore on her kids, man.

Today's grey cloudy skies and drizzle here in the Northeast reminded me of Danielle's mood. While she was one of my favorites during her season, I really had hoped for much better strategy this season than she exhibited. I think a part of it was not teaming up with the right person from the start hurt her.
