Talk of Manipulation Hits Bulgaria's Big Brother Winner
Zdravko Vassilev claimed close victory in Bulgaria's first Big Brother reality show. Local reports however claim that co-producer SIA Advertising manipulated the vote.
The winner in Bulgaria's first Big Brother show Zdravko Vassilev has been predetermined, according to reports.
A week before the winner was elected out of the three roommates who made it to the final line, co-producer SIA Advertising has patented the "Big Zdravko" brand, local Trud Daily disclosed.
Teenage fashion model Svetlozara Trendafilova, aged 19, failed to sweep the BGN 200,000 (approximately EUR 100,000) prize, as Zdravko surprisingly overtook her in the last one hour of the sms race.
It was only logical to patent the "Big Zdravko" brand, as "big" goes well with the name of a male, says Niko Tuparev, producer of the Nova TV channel, which aired the reality show.
Zdravko was the most flirtatious of the participants in the reality show, who kept telling housemates of his past love affairs and made an unsuccessful attempt to seduce the young females in the house.
