OK, so now I understand why CBS green-lighted another season of Big Brother: After Dark.
Big Brother producer Allison Grodner announced the big twists and rule changes for Big Brother 9 today and, boy, are they shameless. So beautifully, gloriously shameless. The main changes are this: while casting this season of Big Brother, the producers did compatibility matches and found eight couples who CBS believes are soul mates. They will compete as a team, receive veto and HoH as a team, and so on. It's unclear how long the team aspect will go on throughout the season, but I think it's safe to assume that at some point, the house guests will revert back to competing as individuals.
