Well done Bez - a flawed but honest gentleman

I think it's crap that he won. I don't give a fig how honest he was. Some things like drug taking should be kept secret if you are going on a reality tv show. Everyone knows that kids watch it, even if it's on post-watershed. It just doesn't sit comfortably with me that some freak is getting paid £50k to talk about the joys of drugs in a non-educational way.

He was as shocked as anyone that he won Heidi. I think he deserved to win not because he spoke about his addiction and and was treated with indifference by his fellow housemates, but because of his addiction. IMO: the people that voted for him saw he was at heart a decent person and his money troubles were big enough to make him endure the 18 days locked away from his unhealty lifestyle. At least we know there will be now 'revelations' to shock us in the press in the days to come.

Well maybe I'm just a cynical cow. I hate to think that I live in a world where people deserve to win things because they have a drug addiction. The fact that he endured 18 days locked away (for which he was paid BTW) from his unhealthy lifestyle does not make me think ''oh what a decent bloke''.....more like ''some people will do anything for a fix''.
The guy went in there because he had money worries. Am I wrong to assume that drugs had nothing to do with those debts that he's been worrying about?
Maybe I didn't watch it enough but all I ever heard the bloke talk about (prize money wise) was his car, himself (pimpin' oop me ride man) and NEVER about what he would treat his wife and kids to, and the day he won the 10k on the task he said he felt like going out that night and blowing the lot. Now I may be wrong here, maybe night time is when people flock to the car showrooms and swanky clothes stores, but to my mind he only meant one thing. Getting mashed out of his skull.

I don't even think he was a great housemate. He hardly ever did anything and when he did, he fecked it up then went crazy at everyone. Thought he was going to murder someone over a bit of toad in the hole. And OMG the fuss over being nominated.
No one, except Brigette, ever confronted him over his behaviour. They all said stuff about him in the diary room. I reckon they were mostly all scared shitless of him.

I bet if he was some unknown gimp but the same person on a regular Big Brother, he wouldn't have half the supporters.

He's a victim of his past Hedonism, he knows it and wants to change- his talks with BN were all about that. That endeared him to me.

Whether he actually does is up to him but as he said to Davina winning this is a start.

His past and present behavour was there for all to see, he never glossed over anything and still he won. Maybe that is what the viewers liked about him he stated from the off that he was in financial difficulties and was putting himself through the ordeal to try and get himself out of trouble. So i dont think his lifestyle was an issue with the voters because anyone could see he is far from ready to give up his habit. So maybe it is all down to plain old compassion for a hapless case.

Far from ready to give up his habit. That's great then that he put himself through that ordeal just to get the money to finance his habit some more. (oh and get a new car so he can drive stoned out of his nut) He should take that £50k and check into the Priory.
I hope he gets his driver's licence taken away from him. I wouldn't want to be on the M25 same time as him thanks.

I agree he should not be allowed to drive and I hope he doesn't blow the money on drugs. I think he did the show to get out of debt, lets hope someone close to him can get him to pay off his debts and treat his sons to all the things they might have gone without.
