DAY 5
8.49am
Housemates wake up for an action packed day in the house. Jedward are in the living area putting their home made face mask on Tara. Darryn tells them to clean up after themselves and Tara tells him that she will help. Bobby, Kerry and Darryn are in the gym. In the living room, Tara and Edward call to John: “Our faces are burning!” and John guides them to the bathroom.
9.49am
Sally and Tara are in the bathroom. Sally comments: “I’m freaked out by this mess, it’s gross.” Tara apologises and promises to clean up. Lucien is in the dairy room, talking to Big Brother about Amy. He says that he is confused about his feelings for her: “Do I fancy her, I don’t think I do?” He adds that he isn’t Amy’s “cup of tea,” acts like a “mumbling mess” around her and brands himself “pathetic.”
10.28am
Amy, Darryn and Sally are in the garden. Amy says she is going to open a new beauty salon “specialising in spray tans and Vajazzles.” Darryn complains about the mess that Jedward have made. He says that the twins have the “attention span of mosquitoes.” He adds that Tara is also to blame for the mess: “This isn’t f**king LA” he comments. Amy says: “They’re like children though aren’t they?” and Sally responds that Tara and Pamela have “never picked up a broom in their lives.” “Nor have I honey,” Amy adds.
10.49am
Sally is in the diary room, talking about the mess in the house and admits that she has been “bossy” about the situation. In the kitchen, Pamela and other housemates are tidying up. Sally comes into the kitchen and suggests that they should have a cleaning rota. Pamela disagrees and tells her that she has run programmes with 100 teenagers including “gang members” who clear up when they are told to. Sally gets annoyed and heads out to the garden adding: “If you’re good with gang members, you do it!”
Housemates have gathered for a meeting and all agree to share the cleaning load.
In the diary room, Jedward tell Big Brother that they are fed up but with conversations about the mess in the house. “Who cares if there’s mess, at least if gives us something to do.”
11.21am
Lucien and Tara are in the garden talking about Sally and agree that she likes to “take control.” Sally joins them and Lucien asks her if she is okay. Sally responds but sounds defensive, “I don’t mean to be bossy” she adds. Tara and Lucien tell her that she did the “right thing” in addressing the group. Sally adds; ‘Sod Pamela, she’s pissing me off.’ Jedward are in the living room. They announce their Big Brother house talk show and ask Amy to be their guest.
12.51pm
Jedward make a small chat show set using chairs and shoes. Darryn has prepared tuna bake for lunch and Jedward decide to eat theirs in the bedroom. They moan that the lunch is “sick,” then flush it down the toilet. In the bedroom, Jedward are hitting their spoons against the bowls pretending to eat adding loudly: “Mmm, this is the best meal ever.” After a few minutes the twins return to the living area. Kerry shouts: “You threw that lunch away!” The twins say they haven’t. Darryn mumbles to himself: “They’re totally weird if they didn’t like that.” Jedward comment that the meal tasted “fishy.’
1.30pm
Jedward opens the fridge and a tub of coleslaw falls out and spills onto the floor. Some of the housemates tell him to leave it and clean it up later. Paddy comes into the kitchen and sees the coleslaw on the floor adding; ‘What the f**k happened here?’ Jedward explain and tell Paddy “its no big deal, we’ll clean it up in a bit.” Paddy goes out to the garden and tells housemates about the new mess. Darryn is listening then gets distracted at the sight of John tugging Amy’s bikini bottoms and shouts: “That’s disgraceful!” Amy is upset and leaves the garden.
Back in the living room Jedward begin their chat show with guest Tara Reid. Bobby and Lucien make up the audience. In the garden Darryn voices his disgust about John’s action. Amy has come into the garden and asks housemates if she “overacted.” They disagree and Paddy adds: “You don’t do that to a woman.”
In the living area, Jedward are still hosting their show while Kerry cleans the coleslaw off the floor. In the garden Sally says that Jedward “didn’t mean any harm.” “They aren’t stupid though,” adds Pamela. “I’m not defending them; I just don’t think they engaged their brain,” Sally replies. On the ‘Jedward Show,’ Jedward ask Tara for kissing tips. Tara replies: ‘Soft and smooth’. Jedward practices his kissing in the air.
2.08pm
Amy is waiting to go in the diary room and John apologises for pulling her bikini. Amy tells him to sit down with her for a talk. “Never do that again!” she tells him and John apologises. Amy tells him that she is worried about her bum. She says that he and Edward must be “careful” how they act towards the other female housemates. “I do love you,” adds Amy. They share a hung. Darryn and Kerry are in the pool talking about Jedward. The twins are washing their clothes in the bath. Kerry and Darryn agree that the twins are “trying” to make amends. Darryn admits that he may have been “a bit over the top (with them) earlier.”
3.19pm
Kerry tells Sally that she didn’t enjoy having to nominate and if she had got to know Sally beforehand, she wouldn’t have put her up. Sally says it doesn’t matter and Kerry says that she is not looking forward to nominating again. Sally says that she is and thinks Kerry will go far and that Jedward will win. Darryn has been called to the diary room. Big Brother sets him a secret mission to pap the housemates to the headlines; When Paddy met Sally, Get Hoff Me, Storm in a D-Cup, Love is in the Air and Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? His fellow housemates must not find out.
7.39pm
Housemates are gathered housemates on the sofas to hear the results of Darryn’s mission. Housemates watch the results on the plasma screen and laugh. Amy is confused by the Storm in a D Cup headline adding: “I didn’t get it.” Big Brother announces Darryn has won his task and as a result, tonight the housemates will have Pap Party. All of the housemates cheer and hug Darryn.
Pamela asks Darryn if he took any pictures of them playing basketball. Amy, Kerry, Tara and Lucien giggle and Kerry whispers: “What the f**k?” Tara and Kerry leave the room to conceal their laughter. Lucien, Tara, Kerry, Sally and Amy are all in the bathroom laughing about Pamela’s comment.
8.42pm
Housemates are enjoying the party. In garden Pamela and Jedward are posing and taking pictures by the pool. Some of the housemates are laughing as they watch them. A short while later John is playing with a large wooden box and likens it to one he and Edward used on stage to pop out of and surprise the crowd. Paddy says: “Get in it now, listen you sausage.” “I’m not a sausage ok. I’m not a piece of food” John replies. Tara tells Paddy “Be nice, I think you hurt his feelings.” Bobby agrees and says: “Show them some respect, they’re nice guys. Paddy agrees goes over and apologies to John. Lucien mentions Pamela’s ‘basketball’ comment and says that it had “gone past the stage of being funny.” Bobby adds: “It wasn’t funny anyway.” Amy comments: ‘Bless Pam’ and Bobby responds “You can’t take the p**s’ out of her then say ‘bless Pam.’” Pamela enters the garden sofa area and they stop talking about it.
10.39pm
Kerry, Amy, Paddy and Darryn are in the bedroom discussing Bobby’s mood.
Amy tells them what happened in the garden and says that Bobby is trying to cause an argument in order to get more “screen time.” Back in the garden Bobby, Lucien, Tara and Sally talk about Amy. Sally says that Amy is “a kind person” but Bobby thinks otherwise. “Don’t f***king go near her, she’ll bleed you dry and take money out of your purse, she’s a tabloids dream!” he says. Bobby tells them that he doesn’t like people “disrespecting” each other and says that Darryn is a “p***k.” Back in the bedroom the housemates are still talking about Bobby. Darryn adds: “We just don’t get each other” and says that Bobby thinks that he is “manipulating.”
In the garden Sally tells Bobby that she wished he had opened up before adding: “I’ve never seen you like this.” She tells him that he should speak up more and Bobby said tells her that he usually just keeps it to himself.
11.26pm
Sally and Pamela chat in the garden about Sally being up for eviction. Sally thinks she is going to go, but “I am what I am.” Darryn and Bobby are in the bedroom talking. Bobby tells Darryn that he respects some aspects of him but not others. ”What you see if what you get” with him.
Back in the garden Kerry and Lucien join Pamela and Sally. Kerry tells them “It’s all kicking off in the bedroom” referring to Bobby and Darryn. Sally says she is glad that Bobby has spoken up. In the bedroom Darryn tells Bobby he is not two-faced: “What you see is what you get’. Bobby pauses then replies; ‘Alright.’
