STUCK IN THE LIDL WITH YOU



Today housemates will be competing against each other in the ultimate shopping task, the right to choose this weeks shopping and the selection choice is bigger and better than ever!

Housemates will compete in ‘Carry - A -Bag’ a test of ‘Strength’. The four winners from this task will go through to the final round ‘Alley Tumble’ a test of ‘Speed’.

Carry - A - Bag:
Housemates must each take two carrier bags filed with cotton wool from the bagging area and stand on a circular disc. An ‘unexpected items in bagging area’ sound will signal the start of the task, and housemates must raise their arms to the sides to horizontal level, holding a shopping bag in each hand.

If one or both of a housemate’s arms drop down to their side, they will be eliminated by Big Brother calling their name. Jedward will compete separately but as one team, as soon as one of them drops or lowers their arms, they will both be disqualified.

The four winning housemates will be instructed to make their way to the large Task Room to compete in Alley Tumble. The winning pair will win the chance to choose this week’s shopping.

Alley Tumble:
Housemates must form teams of 2. If Jedward are competing they must remain together in the same team, so the other two housemates will automatically become the two members of the opposite team. One Housemate must sit in the trolley and the other must stand behind the trolley.

Housemates standing behind the trolley will need to push the trolley, aiming to knock over as many ‘BB Noodles’ in the pyramid as possible. The team to knock over the most amounts of items will win. If required, Big Brother’s verifier will decide the winner.

Little story...
Someone on Twitter was trying to find Jedward and went to the wrong Lidl, they even tried the usual Tesco that BB use. Being helpful, I had passed on a link to the picture above at the time the twins were actually there, but this person decided to be silly and refused to look because our Twitter account did not follow him as an individual...!?

I cannot do with childish people and have now found that the account we had followed, BBbitontheradio, is not BB official so I've happily un-followed that. Their loss.

Jedward Bring Home the Bacon Ch5

Yesterday evening Jedward won the chance of a lifetime, doing the shopping themselves in Lidl supermarket!

At 23:40 last night when they least expected, Big Brother called Jedward to the diary room, where they found out that they would be doing the shopping themselves in a real, once in a lifetime trolley dash.

Jedward were given 5 minutes to collect all housemates’ orders before leaving the house. Paddy threw a request in for shoe polish; Amy was worried about her biscuits and Kerry just wanted some menthol cigarettes.

At Lidl, Jedward were given 2min 30seconds each to gather as much shopping as possible.

The first dash: John collected £303.46 worth of shopping, with items such 41lb of bananas, 11 large jars of coffee, 2 legs of frozen lamb & a heck of lot of sweets.

The Second dash: Edward collected £200.48 worth of shopping including 16 boxes of organic eggs, 17 boxes of blueberries and 10 punnets of red grapes.

Jedward returned to the Big Brother house with their £503.94 worth of shopping in 2 trolleys and woke up the house to show-off their successful shop. Hopefully all housemates’ orders were collected… Or were they?

Awww, trolley dashes... they used to be all the rage. I'd love to do one, but these days I'd need longer than 5 mins to get any good stuff, lol. Should be fun to watch Jedward doing theirs.

But no toilet roll...

Oh dear - I would have killed them for that!! I suppose BB will have to supply it for health and safety reasons.

They even asked the manager for Staff discount...
No toilet roll, no ciggies (Lidl dont sell them), doubtful they got boot polish or any other requests - but stacks of SWEETS
