“BIG SPENDERS”


For this weeks shopping task, Housemates will be given a whopping £1000. However, if they want to keep the money, they will have to spend it first. Each Housemate is given a personal cheque book which they can use to buy items throughout the day. Their cheques are deposited in a giant piggy bank. The total amount spent by Housemates during the task will equate to the amount they have to spend on their shopping tomorrow.

BREAKFAST
Housemates will begin the task by buying their breakfast.

BIG BROTHER’S CLOTHING EMPORIUM
Big Brother will call one Housemate to the Diary Room and offer them the chance to buy a colourful zentai suit. Once they have purchased it, they’ll be offered another, and another and another. The Housemate must wear all suits purchased.

FUN FARE
All Housemates are offered a chance to spend their pocket money in Big Brother’s Fun Fare. All of the items at the fair have a price attached to them. They can pay to use a child’s coin operated ride, a coin pusher machine, and a spinning Waltzer ride. There is also a stall in the garden where a housemate can pay to ‘pie’ a celebrity.

TRASH FOR CASH
One celebrity Housemate is offered a brief stay at Big Brother’s Boutique Hotel. They are told that they will have to pay for any damage caused to their suite. The Housemate will have 3 minutes to trash the room as vigorously as possible.

PEDALO
Two Housemates will be offered the chance to pay to spend an hour in a swan pedalo.

ON YOUR HEAD
This task will test that celebrity’s knowledge on the price of everyday items. In the Diary Room, Big Brother will ask housemates how much they think various items cost. If they guess correctly, they will spend the money. However, if they guess incorrectly the item will be dropped on their head instead.

SHOT TILL YOU DROP
Up to six Housemates will be invited into an exclusive VIP area. Once there, they are offered the opportunity to buy rounds of shots, including Risky Sours, Bloody Scary and Sam-puker. However if they buy a round but fail to all finish a round of drinks, they will be reimbursed.

DAY 2
The task will continue tomorrow. Big Brother will reveal details of how Housemates can spend the money they accumulate today.

Today, Big Brother will give housemates one last chance to spend their money during Shot Till You Drop, as their Big Spenders shopping task continues.

Six housemates will be invited into an exclusive VIP area. Once there, they will be offered the opportunity to buy rounds of shots, including Risky Sours, Bloody Scary and Sam-puker. However if they buy a round of shots but fail to all finish their drinks, they will be reimbursed.

Later today Big Brother will reveal how much money housemates have spent and details on how they can spend their money on this week’s shopping.

Yesterday, housemates completed Shot Till You Drop successfully drinking 6 rounds of shots. They spent a total of £120.

Julian, Coleen, Julie and Samantha took part in Loose Change. They had to tell each other some home truths at a cost of £10 per truth.

Coleen said to Julian ‘This most irritating thing about you is.... You’re not doing enough innuendos for me’
Julian said to Samantha ‘I think the public’s opinion of you is... You think you’re beautiful, you’re vain’
Julie said to Samantha ‘When you walk into the room I think... So you think you’re beautiful do you lady’
Samantha said to Julie ‘I would describe your personal style as... Alexis Colby meets Blackpool

ROUND 2
Coleen said to Julie ‘If I could change one thing about you it would be... To be more honest then I think you’re being’
Julian said to Coleen ‘The word I would use to describe you is... Overweight’
Julie said to Coleen ‘If I could give you one piece of advice it would be... Shut the **** up’
Samantha said to Julian ‘I think your Big Brother experience will result in... Underwhelming’

ROUND 3
Coleen said to Samantha ‘Your worst feature is... You need your roots doing girl’
Julian said to Julie ‘I would describe your personality as... Vulgar’
Julie said to Coleen ‘Your worst personality trait is... Mean eyes. Very mean eyes’
Samantha said to Julian ‘I think the best thing I can say about your career is... Mediocre’

They successfully delivered 12 home truths spending a further £120.

Therefore in total Housemates have accrued a grand total of £725 which they can spend on this week’s shopping.


For the final part of this week’s shopping task two housemates left the Big Brother house last night to take part in a Trolley Dash.

Jasmine and Rhian left the Big Brother house to take part in an exciting Trolley Dash at Morrison’s.
Jasmine and Rhian had four minutes each to complete their trolley dash. However, they were told that if at the end of the dash they had accumulated more than £725 worth of goods in their trolleys then they would leave the store with NOTHING and receive an economy budget for this week’s shopping.

Fortunately Jasmine and Rhian’s trolley dash came to a total of £438.65 and so returned with laden bags!
