An old flame or current love of a Celebrity Big Brother housemate is to join the show, it emerged tonight.

The ninth celebrity will be surprising the housemates tomorrow night, with programme makers promising the mystery contestant has, or has had, a relationship with one current contestant.

Meanwhile, DJ Lisa I’Anson has become Queen of the Big Brother house for three days under the first weekly task.

This means she is to be waited on hand and foot by her fellow housemates for the entire period.

Model Caprice is the Royal Dresser, academic Germaine Greer is the Royal Cook, and betting pundit John McCririck is the Court Jester.

Pop star Kenzie is Royal Minstrel, actor Jeremy Edwards and Happy Mondays legend Bez are footmen while the former Mrs Sylvester Stallone, Brigitte Nielsen, has to warm the toilet seat for Lisa.

Their tasks under this theme will include pheasant plucking and painting.

Earlier in the day, the housemates fruitlessly attempted to persuade John to join in the fun.

He has excluded himself from the group in a protest over Diet Coke not being on the menu.

The first round of nominations will take place on Tuesday and be broadcast on Wednesday on Channel Four at 9pm.

That will be followed by a live eviction next Friday.

Ladbrokes makes John favourite to be first evicted at 5-4 while Jeremy is the 2-1 favourite to win.

Hopefully it will bring in the house different kind of tension in the air between housemates as the knowledge to have someone new coming in (who might have previously had a relationship with one of them)has brought in some suspense already

I wonder if it will Be Rachel from Sclub 7 cos she used to be engaged to Jeremy. Just speculation though.

I think I read somewhere that it was very amicable when they split. Caprisse would have the claws out tho as her 'most attractive' title would come under threat. :angel:

I can't think of anyone it could be apart from Rachel Stevens.

I have barely heard of Mr Adams (shame on me - most footballers look the same to me!), but apparently he was with Caprisse at one stage.

Following some rumours that it might be him, I did a short google search -and it would seem that he would benefit from this opportunity, and that he'd be a very interesting housemate.

Tony and Bez might find some common ground having had similar 'hobbies'! I often think that lack of drugs must be the hardest thing for some of the celebs in the house!

Bez is great though. Looks about 20 years older than he should (although the life he's led it's a miracle he's alive)!

Bez to win, I reckon. Until I change my mind anyway...

Well as none of the 'celebrities' in there have an ex or current 'celebrity' partner that I know of other than Jeremy, I can only assume it must be his (LA) ex, Ms stevens.

To be honest I am not up for this sort of thing, I have never liked new HM's entering mid show although a replacement for a walker is acceptable. This just screws the show up for me.

It was like the Cameron swap, great idea but as Cam was not in the house for a week, he no longer seemed to be part of the family and came back a different (much more likable) bloke and to be honest I think this swung the winners post in front of him which (and no disrespect Cameron if your reading this) I dont think he would have got anywhere near otherwise.

I quite liked Vic Reeves wife in IACGMOH until Vic came in, and just the change in dynamics made me dislike her and to be honst him to.

Not giving all HM the same level in the house will always have an effect on how people see that one person because of BB's action and it is always going to be unfair on that HM or more often than not, all the others.

Its like dressing up as Santa and going to a childrens ward with 6 kids in it and giving presents to either just one or all but one.

In a game all players should start off with the same chance and their playing should be what determines their fate, not the actions of BB does to a singular player.
