As John is a betting man would it not seem natural that he has a bet on when he will come out? As its hard to say if your going to be 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th etc, is it not possible he has bet that he will be the 1st out and that is why he is acting like an ass.

He is ensuring the HM's will nominate him and believes that by acting the way he is the public will vote him out.

If he has a bet that he will be 1st out he has a lot to gain. He said before he went in that he wanted to be first out and encouraged the viewers to vote him out at the earliest opportunity, and is now acting in a way that he believes will guarantee this.

If he wants to be out as much as he says then there is nothing to stop him from walking other than him losing the money and any bets there may be on him being the first evicted.

For this reason and as much as I dislike the man, I would not give him the satisfaction of being the first evicted.

Maybe I think too deeply into things but he definately appears to want to be out 1st out and in saying this before he even went in, makes you wonder why he went in in the first place, and he did say he was only doing it for the money.
