| Post subject: | John's Diet Coke sponsorship deal? |
I had a thought on the way home from work tonight..... I think that John was advised by some PR type (Clifford?) to attach himself to a specific product in the hope of securing a mega sponsorship deal when he's evicted... The reason I say that is that John doesn't seem to me to be a Coke kinda guy....He smokes incredibly expensive cigars and dresses like a true eccentric - I just can't picture him in the house asking Booby for a nice glass of diet coke (More like Bitty probably Seems all a bit contrived to me......discuss? |

I think you answered your own post, I can't see coca cola beating a path to his door, having said that, theres no law against a big person drinking diet coke, in fact it makes sense

I hate the taste of diet drinks as well they taste far too sweet and syrupy for my liking and leave a nasty after taste. Maybe they do that so you dont drink so many of them. |

But if a fat person was trying to lose weight, they would be the ideal promoter |

re: sponser deal, hmm, unlikely. Coke - or any other leading brand would not want to be associated with a guy whose habits we are now quite aware of . Ewwwwwww ---- Re: diet cola (or any diet food stuff) Aspartame = the devils sweetener. If you consume anything with that stuff in it, you might as well just take up smoking, crack, bottle of whiskey a day etc. evil stuff; Calrissian: Has a thing about artificial sweeteners |

| Post subject: | Odds offered on McCririck Coke ad |
Bookies are offering odds on John McCririck taking part in a Diet Coke advert. William Hill make it a 5/1 shot that the Celebrity Big Brother housemate will be asked to front an official campaign for the drink. But they believe there is a greater chance of him appearing in Celebrity Fit Club (3/1). "You couldn't describe John as a marketing man's dream but stranger things have happened," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams. He added that the racing pundit certainly does not fit the role of the six-pack labourer from the recent Diet Coke commercials. McCririck lost his temper in the Big Brother house and staged a silent protest when his requests for Diet Coke were ignored. From Ananova |
