Well, congratulations to Brigette, winner of Celeb. BB 2005'.

Bez, runner up.
with the child in third.
--------------------------
Is there really anyone who would argue against this seemingly 'written in stone' result? It would be nice, just for once if BB was not so predicatable. What medications are the production team on? They make such a big deal of what is a pretty dull - well tried idea. Taking lisa out on wednesday - aka Stuart' II, was so indicative of the current situation.

Simply put, have C4 run out of ideas for BB?

Calrissian: Tired of being right all the time.

 Are you likening Brigitte to Nadia??
I know she's tall and muscular, but....

No, but seriously - are you thinking that there's some link between them bringing Jackie in, seriously freaking and pi**ing Brigitte off, and then making it all cushtie again by letting her win?

I'm not sure why they'd want her to win. :-?

I remember reading a few days ago alot of people saying that the show was so obviously geared up for either Caprice or Jeremy to win :-?

Hmm...Calrissian may have a point here...
just wondering how many copies of OK! would shift with the wild stare of Bez glaring out from its cover and his crayyyzeee teeth...

I'm sure Endemol and OK! are ikky-sticky bedfellows.

It feels like Brigitte is an adult, taking care of the two boys.

Kenzie was using what they describe as strong language on E4 around midnight - f-ing and blinding at BB for taking his best mate away.

Brigitte is so decent to Bez - she's supportive, but not patronising. She is challenging him to take a big step towards true independence. I think if I was in the house, I'd be telling him he was great, but privately I'd be thinking that he should break free from all the stuff, but I wouldn't have the courage to say so. Brigitte is taking the risk - and I honestly don't think she's doing it for ratings. I think she can't help herself acting like a mother.

Well, i never did.
Bridgette was always going to be a second to Germaine - a truly interesting person, representing a very dynamic time in the 20'th century. Since she realised (ohh how late?) what BB is really about, Bridgette became the inevitable winner.
---

Re: nadia. No, i don't believe c4 expected bridgette to win, i actually would have thought they'd have expected jeremy or kenzie to win - yet both of those two have proved to be relatively dull.

*as for jackie, it was certainly interesting sticking in what was a semi-senile old person into the house.

Q. Fancy a BB for old people version? a House of 12 semi-aware old people, all like jackie, lol. Now that would be fascinating to watch (sorta).

Calrissian: Contemplating BB6, a great deal to consider indeed.

In the next 'real' BB, they should introduce The Jackie for 24 hours. The housemates would be majorily perplexed. They could pay Jackie a nice sum, and make sure she suffered minimal discomfort for the period - just let the Housemates think she's there to stay.

They've already put cameras in the Houses of Parliament. ;)

hmm yeah, i guess i could agree with that statement of fact - although more true for the upper house, rather than the commoners house.
---
I really do think the predictable nature of BB is a serious issue for the show - although there will certainly be another 2-3 series of the show. I could write more on this, but its late, and i think i've save it for a longer article. Its time i wrote something proper.

Calrissian: Almost forget to add a closing line

I think Kenzie is the predictable winner and have thought so from day 1, I don't want him to win but he will, he is the youngest and had no serious competition, it didn't matter how well anyone else did he appeals the most to the people who vote

I must admit, I'm surprised that Jeremy went out before Brigitte. Disappointed too.

 Cameron!

When you're as old as me, honey, it'll all make sense. You can't argue with quality.

Are you saying that Brigitte is more quality than Jeremy? She's certainly more quantity.

I think Brigitte has (surprisingly) more integrity, more depth, more warmth, more humanity, more empathy.

Oh - and she also has more support (obviously).

More years' experience to draw on perhaps - making her more able to express these qualities you describe. Maybe. On top of which, she's a woman and you lot make much more of expressing all that sort of thing whereas we're pretty hopeless in some of those areas.
