CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER – DAILY UPDATE Day 1 Last night, Big Brother put 13 shiny new celebrity housemates into the most famous house in Britain. 8.58pm Host Brian Dowling introduces the first Celebrity Big Brother housemate as actress Natalie Cassidy. Natalie enters the house and walks down the famous staircase removing her shoes and telling Big Brother that she wouldn’t wear her shoes in her own house, so she won’t here. Big Brother calls her to the diary room and explains that she is about to be given a secret task: “Unlucky,” Big Brother says, “Big Brother is about to help you break the ice…with a sledgehammer” Big Brother explains that for the rest of the night, she will have to wear an ear piece and Big Brother will be speaking directly to her and will tell her what to say and do to her fellow housemates. Each time she fails to obey an instruction from Big Brother one housemate will not receive their suitcase. “Remember, this is our little secret” Big Brother reminds Natalie. Michael is the next housemate to enter the Big Brother house. As he does, Big Brother tells Natalie to tell him that she is his “biggest fan.” She does so and then is told to say to Michael, “Hey Free Willy, give me a high five!” Andrew Stone is the next housemate to enter the house followed by Playboy twins, Karissa and Kristina, X-Factor bad boy Frankie Cocozza and Rugby legend Gareth Thomas. All of the housemates take a glass of champagne and Gareth says “Well I suppose it’s a celebration of some sort.” Big Brother tells Natalie to go and kiss Frankie on the lips, and she does. Wag and glamour girl Nicola McClean is the next housemate to enter the house and as she does, Michael says: “It’s definitely another girl…” Natalie is instructed to go over to Nicola and tell her that she is “completely cool” with her being in the house. Once she has carried out the instruction Big Brother makes her repeat it twice more which she does. Kirk is the next housemate to enter the house, followed by Georgia. As Kirk greets Georgia, he kisses her on the cheek and tells her “you look lovely.” Meanwhile, Big Brother tells Natalie to kiss Frankie on the lips again. She follows him in to the bathroom and says “please, please don’t make me do this, he’s only a little boy!” She tries to kiss him and then is told to ask him, “Is it hot in here or is it you?” Natasha Giggs is the next housemate to enter and as she does, Nicola, hugs her and apologises for their Twitter row outside the house. Romeo from So Solid Crew is the penultimate housemate to enter and when he walks through the door, Natalie and Nicola sing his song, “Romeo Dunn” out loud and giggle. Romeo introduces himself to Michael and tells him, “you’re the man!” Michael whispers in his ear, “there’s a lot of chicks in here” and they both laugh. Natalie’s next task is to speak to the twins in an American accent before admitting that she has modelled in the past for Playboy UK. Despite this not being true, Natalie continues to go along with her secret task. Actress and TV personality Denise Welch is the final housemate to enter the housemate and is met by all of the housemates. “My mum is your biggest fan!” Romeo tells her and they hug. Natalie is then told by Big Brother that she needs to make all of the housemates gather on the sofas and hold hands. She must then make a motivational speech which must end in tears. She does so and tells everyone to “have a wonderful time and all be ourselves” before crying to Denise that she is feeling emotional at entering the house. 10.51pm The housemates are getting to know each other and their new house. Frankie and Kirk are talking in the kitchen and Andrew is sat at the sofas with Georgia, telling her about his dancing career: “I’m 39, I’m an old man!” he tells her and they laugh. Romeo is talking to Michael and says “welcome to the UK boss.” Michael tells Romeo why he decided to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house and says that he was tempted by his friend, Vinnie Jones, who has been a housemate before. “We’ll have a laugh,” Romeo continues, “if you need anyone, holla at me!” 11.15pm The celebrity housemates are in the garden and Denise asks some of the girls who Romeo is. “Ooh he’s a rapper?” she realises and says “If I have a drink, I will think I’m down with the kids” and asks them to teach her some recent songs. Bemused by the new experience, the twins are talking about being in the house: “Everyone is going to be watching us and we’ll look like we’re in a cage.” By the pool, Andrew and Romeo are talking about relationships. “Everyone has always thought I’m gay, I’m cool with it” says Andrew. “Women fall in love with you as a personality,” Romeo tells him. 11.28pm In the garden, Natalie is instructed by Big Brother to take Frankie to one side and flirt with him. She must tell him that she knows he has a reputation as a ladies’ man and wants him to know that if he doesn’t have any luck with the other girls in the house, she will get off with him. They both laugh and Frankie says, “only if I can call you Sonia!” Natalie is also told by Big Brother that she must ask if Georgia has ever done a sex tape before admitting that she has done one. Natalie continues to obey Big Brother in her secret task. In the living area, Natasha and Gareth are getting to know each other and Gareth quizzes her about who her husband is. In the diary room, Frankie is telling Big Brother about his housemates. He admits that he was star struck by Michael and that his housemates “probably think I’m a little sh*t, but I don’t mind.” He then starts to talk about the ladies in the house: “There’s a bit of talent out there, you’re gonna tease us lads. I sort of fell in love with the twins as soon as I got in. I like Denise as well, I like older women.” 12.21am The housemates are gathered on the sofa and Big Brother explains to them that Natalie has been on a secret task since she entered the house. “I was saying some strange things, I’m sorry,” Natalie says to her fellow housemates and they all chatter in shock. Big Brother explains that because she didn’t successfully kiss Frankie on the lips the second time, she now has 30 seconds to decide which of her housemates will not receive their suitcase. “Romeo, because he’s chilled,” she says, “I’m suited and booted throughout this whole process” Romeo laughs. Because Romeo won’t receive his suitcase, the housemates say that he should choose his bed first and Denise jokes “where are you sleeping then Romeo?” and the housemates laugh. In the bedroom, the twins run to one of the double beds and Natasha and Nicola high five each other when they get a bed next to each other. Nicola gives Romeo her dressing gown to wear and Michael gives him some silk zebra print pyjamas and Romeo says, “you’re the man!” and they laugh. 12.56am Frankie is in the hot tub, smoking. Romeo is telling Big Brother how he feels without his suitcase: “I just hope its not a week [without my suitcase]. If it’s a week, my swag is gonna be a mess.” In the garden, Michael explains to Andrew that he is used to people organising his stuff for him, rather than having to do it himself. They both laugh as they watch the Playboy twins walk over to the pool, realise it is freezing cold and walk back into the house. 2.02am Gareth, Georgia and Karissa and Kristina are talking on the sofas and the twins admit that they got “bored” of living in the Playboy mansion after a while. In the kitchen, Michael is cooking a packet of sausages whilst talking to Nicola and Andrew. 2.46am The housemates are getting ready to go to bed. In the diary room, Natasha is telling Big Brother that she feels that everybody seems “genuine” and that it is going to be hard trying to change people’s opinions of her: “I’m just going to be myself.” In the smoking area, Denise and Nicola are talking about their partners and Nicola explains that her husband is a footballer. “Do you understand the offside rule?” Denise asks her. “Yeah, absolutely. I’m a soccer mum they say” Nicola replies. 3.42am In the bedroom, Michael is snoring very loudly. Kirk and Romeo are left in the smoking area and Kirk admits that he has eyes for Georgia. “Georgia is something else,” he starts, before admitting that she is his ideal woman. “Go for it, bruv” Romeo encourages. They both look around them and think about their new Celebrity Big Brother experience. They both contemplate winning and then go to bed. |
