‘BIG IN JAPAN’ It’s week 3 of Celebrity Big Brother and Housemates are set a hoax task….. Housemates are led to believe that as well as being aired in the UK, Big Brother has also been available to watch in Japan and has become an over night success, so much so that it has a cult following and all Housemates are all now ‘big in Japan’ So a Japanese TV show ‘Super Chat’ has come to interview the Housemates…. One Housemate will be in on the hoax initially, and will be asked to pick the 3 most gullible Housemates who the hoax will be on. Shortly after Big Brothers announcement to the house breaking the ‘news’ that the show is a hit in Japan, all Housemates, bar the chosen 3, will be secretly informed that this is a hoax. Housemates will only pass the task if they successfully get the chosen 3 to believe in the hoax and join in with 3 outrageous stunts as part of their interviews. If housemates successfully pass their task they will be rewarded with a Karaoke party, sushi and booze for the evening. |

Day 17: Task update 'Big in Japan' A short while ago, Big Brother called Denise to the diary room to inform her of the hoax task – she was selected upon the basis that she is the housemate most capable of carrying out the required duties. In short, Denise is the 'chosen one'. Big Brother explained that shortly housemates will be told that they have become famous in Japan and that a Japanese chat show (whose name translates as 'Super Chat') will be coming to interview them in the task room. Big Brother informed Denise that this is all in fact one big fat juicy LIE, and in fact the show hasn't been aired in Japan at all. Therefore no-one is 'Big in Japan'. Denise has been assigned the secret task to ensure that all housemates believe this scenario is actually true, and that they are all in fact a 'big' deal 'in Japan'. Additionally she must make sure that three gullible housemates must take part in ridiculous stunts during their interviews; and that these three housemates must be chosen by her. Denise selected Gareth, the twins, and Romeo as the three most gullible people in the House. They therefore will be taking part in the fake interviews. Denise was informed that she will also have an interview which will take place first, and that the following three interviews after her will happen on a fake set in the large task room. |

I wouldn't have thought that those 3 were the most gullible in there - what about Frankie? It seems as though she may have chosen the ones she thinks stand a chance of winning, in an effort to make them look stupid! But then again, I suppose she didn't really have a lot of choice. I don't think that Michael or Nicola would have been very good choices. She probably thought that if she was really choosing 3 to represent the house in interviews, then Frankie wasn't really the obvious choice as he is very young. |

BIG BROTHER – TASK RESOLVE ‘BIG IN JAPAN’ Yesterday morning, Denise was called to the diary room and asked to choose the three most gullible housemates. Denise chose Gareth, Romeo, Karissa and Kristina to be subjects of an elaborate hoax - a hoax that all other housemates knew about. Housemates are not Big in Japan. Super Chat is not a real Japanese chat show. Daijiro is not a Japanese chat show host. Housemate’s were each interviewed on the show, and all agreed to the host Daijiro’s zany requests. Denise ensured that the three most gullible housemates truly believed they were on a Japanese chat show and went through with everything the host asked them to do. The other housemates managed to convince them that they were star guests on the fictional Japanese chat show. They have therefore passed the task and won a Japanese themed sushi and karaoke party last night. |
