Dane Bowers has broken his silence on his arrest over an alleged sexual assault of a woman in a hotel room.
The 32-year-old was quizzed by police on Tuesday after being arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to rape.
The alleged incident is reported to have happened on Saturday night in a hotel room after Bowers headlined a DJ set at the Deco Lounge club in Hertford.
His spokesman told the Mail Online: 'Dane completely rejects these unfounded accusations & is extremely confident that the matter will not proceed any further once a full investigation has taken place.
'The whole incident has caused considerable upset to Dane and his family.'
The alleged victim is thought to have been at the club before going to a nearby hotel where she later contacted police.
Police took a video statement from the woman, The Sun reported.
