Day 11: Like Mother Like Daughter task - Jasmine's back!


Have you been missing Jasmine? Well, she's back with a vengeance and on a mission to meddle with the housemates ALL OVER AGAIN! What's more, she'll be doing this with the help of a very special guest – professional actress, Bond girl, Marilyn Galsworthy - AKA her own mother.

Marilyn will be entering the House under the pretence of being a 'celebrity psychic'. She will be given the task of convincing the others that she is a genuine housemates, but will also have to deliver 'psychic predictions' fed to her by Jasmine.

Jasmine will be watching the action in the House from a monitor in the task room and will be feeding Marilyn instructions from an ear piece.

If Jasmine and her mother carry out their secret mission without the housemates working out Marilyn's true identity, the ex-housemate will win a very special reward, which will be revealed later. If they fail the mission, the housemates will win a reward instead.

Excited? You should be, it's going to be a very interesting day...

Day 11: Jasmine's mum is in the House!

Earlier today, 'Shelley' - AKA Marilyn Galsworthy, AKA Jasmine's mum, entered the House via the Diary Room. Her mission? To convince the others that she is a bonafide housemate, with the help of a little birdie in her ear (or Jasmine as she's more commonly known).

We've been watching her every move since her arrival and it's fair to say that she's received a mixed reaction from the housemates. While the likes of Coleen and Rhian have welcomed her with open arms - with the former even declaring that she's a 'nice person' to the younger boyss some of the others aren't so sure...

"She's come in here to do something," Harvey declared when she wasn't in earshot.

"There's no picture on the wall.... Funny how we haven't got a task today," Ashley added.

Ah, you can't get anything past these boys, but can 'Shelley' convince them otherwise?

She's begun weaving her web of lies, telling the group that she is a psychic who has come in off the back of a massive scandal in the outside world, which she can't go into, of course, as that would be against Big Brother's rules. So far, so good.

But boy, they're giving her a hard time, asking question after question as they try to catch her out.

"Why do you keep touching one side of your hair, have you got an earpiece in?" Harvey inquired.

"No darling. I'm just a hair flicker of the world," she quickly responded.

Have they caught her out already, or will her acting come in to play and skills save the day?

One thing's for sure, Julie's not impressed by it all; "I've never heard so much sh**e in my life," she exclaimed. But we didn't need to tell you that - her face says it all.

Day 11: Mum's the word


It's fair to say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree - and Jas's mum Marilyn managed to stir up as almost much trouble as her daughter during her short time in the House as the protagonist in the Like Mother Like Daughter task.

With Jasmine acting as puppet master behind the scenes, delivering instructions via an ear piece, Marilyn, posing as psychic 'Shelley', made predictions about the housemates' futures.

Housemates are a suspicious bunch and began quizzing the outspoken blonde from the start. However, that didn't stop then being upset, with both Sam and Danica reduced to tears.

Her fortune telling techniques were a far cry from Cheryl's according to Ashley, which left him wondering who Shelley really was.

Big Brother revealed the true identity of our mystery housemate, sparking outrage from the housemates. They really struggle to take a joke sometimes...

Martin said he was suspicious after he asked her what her surname was and she said she didn't have one. Lorenzo admitted he was actually convinced until she kissed him on the lips. Julie said she knew she was a fake from the start. None of our shrewd housemates actually tackled her on her legitimacy.

Samantha said, "So Jasmine told her everything. F**king bitch." Clearly Mazza really got to her. She had told her she could sense her dog trying to communicate with her and that he missed her.

Jasmine clearly hadn't forseen Sam's mood. BB asked her to pick two housemates to grant immunity from nominations for if she and her Maz won the task. She selected Sam and Coleen adding, "I changed my mind during this task. Originally I was going to save Lorenzo but I am disappointed he has fallen under Danica’s spell. I chose Samantha because she is a sweetheart and Coleen." Kind of awkward.

As it happened, the mum and daughter double-act failed, meaning Jasmine didn’t get to save anyone but housemates were rewarded with a party. Phew.

CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER: TASK RESOLVE



‘LIKE MOTHER LIKE DAUGHTER’




Yesterday, Marilyn Galsworthy (Jasmine’s Mother) entered the Big Brother House on the pretence of being a new housemate, celebrity psychic Shelley.

In order to win a special prize for Jasmine, Marilyn had to convince the housemates she was a genuine celebrity housemate and give a number of psychic readings. If housemates rumbled Marilyn they would win a reward this evening.

All the predictions were fed to her through an earpiece by Jasmine who was watching from the small task room.

Marilyn gave the following psychic readings:

Martin – She senses he too has the gift

Samantha – She can sense her dog is trying to communicate and he misses her

Coleen – She sensed Coleen gets bored easily and asked if she was getting bored of their conversation

Danica – Danica refused to have a psychic reading

Rhian – She is filled with secrets

Julian – Lives somewhere haunted

Ashley – Senses swarms of girls in his future

Prince Lorenzo – She sees a big love and that a marriage is coming up soon.

Marilyn didn’t carry out predictions for: Harvey, The Situation or Julie

As the majority of housemates did not believe Shelley was psychic and suspected that she had entered the house as part of a task Jasmine and Marilyn FAILED their secret mission and housemates were rewarded with dinner, drinks and music last night.

It really is like mother like daughter - Jasmine's mother overlooks the disastrous appearance of her daughter's time in the CBB house to undertake a stint in there herself... little don't fall far from the tree.
