BBTV

For this week’s shopping task it’s time for housemates to sit back and watch TV for two days. Housemates will be watching BBTV the greatest channel on earth and will become the stars of all the TV shows. When a housemate’s show is not on air, they will be a TV Viewer. All TV shows will air once during the two days, except for BBTV News which will transmit on multiple occasions across the two day task.

Big Brother has cast the roles for all the programmes as Big Brother only wants those most qualified for the job.

· Ashley and Martin will become the stars of the kids TV show The Growlers.

· Prince Lorenzo will become ‘Mr Johnny Tickles’, the Narrator of the children’s TV show The Growlers.

· Julie will become the Newsreader of BBTV News.

The Situation and Harvey will become quiz show contestants for the Celebrity Special of ‘ASK 100’.

Coleen and Julian will become the hosts of BBTV’s shopping channel ‘Big Brother’s Big Deals’.

Housemates should attempt to pass each TV show in order to win a luxury shopping budget. At the start of the task housemates will be given a DVD. Recorded onto this DVD is the number of shows that housemates must pass in order to win a luxury shopping budget. They will not be able to play this DVD until the task has finished on day 2.

Day One

First Hit: Ask 100

Ashley and Harvey will be going head to head in the quiz “Ask 100”. Big Brother asked 100 viewers a series of questions about the housemates. To score a point, they must guess the most popular answer to that question. To pass this part of the shopping task, the TV viewers must correctly predict whether Ashley or Harvey will win the quiz.

Second Hit:
BBTV News (multiple spontaneous news hits will take place throughout the two day task)
Whenever the news bulletin trigger is played into the house, Julie has 1 minute to go immediately to the large task room, take a seat behind the news desk, put on her glasses, a jacket and a wig. The rest of the housemates, also have 1 minute to rush onto the sofas in the living area. If they do not make it to their designated places within this time they will fail the news show.
All housemates must be on the sofas ready to watch ‘BBTV News’. In order to pass the task Julie must read every single news item that appears on the screen in front of her. This should be carried out in the style of a newsreader.

Third Hit: The Growlers

For the Children’s TV show ‘The Growlers’, Mr Johnny Tickles – Prince Lorenzo, will be the narrator, telling the story of the two characters Itchy Growler – Martin, and Twitchy Growler - The Situation. To pass this part of the task the two Growlers must do EVERYTHING that the narrator tells them to do. The two Growlers must also do everything with a huge smile on their faces throughout.

So which is right? Is it Ashley and Harvey in the quiz 'Ask 100' or is it The Situation and Harvey, as stated first? ${

second day of BBTV!

BBTV News
In continuation from tomorrow there will be various news bulletins played in throughout the day.

Shopping Channel: Big Brothers Big Deals

Julian and Coleen will be presenting the shopping channel. They will be given a range of items to sell and have approximately 45 seconds to sell each item. A warehouse attendant will present the items one at a time. The items should be sold in an upbeat and glamorous manner. The TV viewers will be watching this from their living room. Only ONE TV viewer must position themselves on the sofa besides the telephone. After being presented with all the items on the TV show, it is then down to this TV viewer (and only this TV viewer) to ring the shopping channel sales team and put in an order for all of the items featured on the show.

In order to pass the task, the TV viewer will need to put in an order for at least 10 out of the 15 items.

Reveal
Housemates were given a DVD with the number of tasks the have to pass. They will play this into the house later today to discover whether they have passed or failed.

Yesterday, saw the end of BBTV: the final shopping task for this series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Big Brother’s Big Deals
Coleen and Julian became the shopping channel hosts attempting to sell the following 15 items:

• A nose trimmer

• Chicken fillets

• Edible caterpillars

• Candy underwear (worn by male and female)

• Jockey training machine

• Gloves with six fingers

• A caricature of Julie Goodyear

• Mud and egg face mask

• Ventriloquist doll

• Trumpet

• Animal balloon tricks – long balloons

• Shake weight

• Arms and legs full body sleeping bag

• Musical piano tie

• Instant Julie Goodyear throat spray and Prince Lorenzo Accent throat spray.

Housemates chose Prince Lorenzo as the shopper who shopped until he dropped by remembering and ordering all 15 of the items that were for sale. Therefore housemates successfully passed this part of the task.

BBTV News
Julie Goodyear exclusively revealed on BBTV News that housemates had passed the trigger task, therefore passing 4 out of 4 tasks.

Housemates have therefore passed the BBTV Shopping Task!

For their efforts housemates were rewarded with a luxury shopping budget as well as food, drinks and music last night.

Day 22: Boys just wanna have fun

We're predicting that it may be a frosty morning in the House today, after some of the housemates were a tad boisterous late last night. It seems the younger folk of the group – Harvey, Ashley and The Sitch (AKA 'HAM' - though why not 'HATS' is beyond us), may have got a little bit over-excited after receiving a party for winning the shopping task yesterday. Which would be obviously be fine, if they hadn't kept the older folk up in their jest.

Retreating to the garden after receiving icy stares from the other housemates, the raucous trio, accompanied by honorary member Coleen, reflected about their reception and tried to defend their boyish behaviour.

"I've been here for 20 days. I'm going to let my hair down ain't I?" Harvey rationalised.

"Let your hair down and let it all hang out," The Situation supportively added.

You know what they say, boys just wanna have fun. Or something like that...

Coleen, however, believes that it stems down to a bigger issue and noted that their reception wasn't a one off incident.

"There is such a big divide in the age thing and I'm in the middle," she mused, before adding "I'll sit up all night with my boys and their friends, it keeps you young."

Well the group may have been feeling young and carefree last night, but it'll be interesting to see how they act when they wake up today. Oh and there is the small matter of a double eviction... Let the good times roll?
