Coleen Nolan prepares for Celebrity Big Brother reunion at Halloween charity ball Coleen Nolan has plenty of tricks and treats up her sleeve as she prepares to host a glittering Halloween ball in Manchester.
The themed charity bash, to be held at Manchester’s Palace Hotel next weekend, will include something of a Celebrity Big Brother reunion for the TV star with some of her reality show housemates.
That includes Prince Lorenzo, flying in especially for the occasion from New York, glamour girls Danica Thrall and Rhian Sugden as well as Olympian Ashley McKenzie and pop star MC Harvey.
Coleen tells me: “I’d asked Prince Lorenzo if he could come if he was in the country, but I never expected him to pay to fly over and stay in Manchester especially to help the charity –he really is Prince Charming!
“And Ashley is planning a special outfit. He rang me to ask should he turn up as a zombie or in normal clothes, so you can imagine what I said.”
However, I doubt we’ll be seeing Coleen’s BB nemesis on the night – Corrie legend Julie Goodyear.
Coleen says: “You wouldn't believe the amount of people on Twitter who have suggested I could get dressed up as Bet Gilroy for the Halloween Ball, but I don’t think so.”
Instead, she’s conjuring up a special Halloween family outfit for her and hubby, Ray Fensome, and for 11-year-old daughter, Ciara, which may give you a clue as to how they will appear!
The Nolans star Coleen’s entertainment plans for the night include star turns from her musical family – son, Shane Jnr, 23, and Ray.
She laughs: “I think Jake and Ray are quite keen for me to get up and sing on the night, too.”
It’s the first charity ball Coleen has hosted, in aid of Sarah’s Hope Foundation, a family-run charity which organises trips away for poorly children and their families.
Reality show favourite Nathan James will also be singing on the night, with guests having the option of wearing fancy dress or black tie. Sounds spooktacular!
