DAILY UPDATE: DAY 17

Key highlights from tonight’s show:


Carol apologises to Lauren for saying she had a boyish figure. She said it was an unfortunate use of language and sometimes she forgets Lauren’s situation.

Louie is talks to Vicky about the house dynamics becoming more like a dysfunctional family as the numbers decrease.

In part of BBFM Vanessa Feltz interviews the housemates, Carol tells her that she is corrupted by Charlotte and goaded by Louie.

Mario defends Charlotte from the public’s comments saying that she is the light that gets you through your time in the house.

Louie tells Vanessa that it is an emotional rollercoaster in the house; he is in there for the money and to raise his profile.

•Abz talks to Courtney in the kitchen, he thinks he is boring everybody because he is in a robe everyday watering plants. Courtney says they are both homebodies.

Courtney tells Lauren that she is now obsessed with Abz as before she didn’t realise that he was in the house but now there are less people she notices him more.

Lauren and Courtney spend time with Abz in the garden talking about nature and life. Abz picks up a moth and then hands it to Lauren. They are all fascinated by its movements.

Abz tells Courtney he is going to run butt naked through the woods when he gets out to get back to nature. Courtney said she feels the same, ‘stuck in yourself’ in the house. Abz ‘You can only run in circles going round and round in the house’.

Carol is giving Courtney some home truths saying that she comes across as a spoilt little girl. Courtney says he doesn’t spoil her with diamonds; he spoils her with love and with protection.

1. Courtney is talking to Vanessa on BBFM.

Courtney “I didn’t know you could see my vajayjay.”

Vanessa “When your husband came in. You didn’t lock lips really; there certainly was no kissing with tongues. Why did you not lock your way on to him in everyway that would seem acceptable on a television programme?”

Courtney “When I came in here I had hardened myself and I did not want to allow myself to be vulnerable and to allow myself to melt into his arms and let it all go because I knew that we only had a couple of minutes together.”

Mario “I think she has been trained in what to say in these situation.”

2. Charlotte is in the diary room talking to Big Brother about the public’s comments from today’s task.

Charlotte “I am really in a bad mood. I know it’s not really supposed to bother us what people say about us… I mean, I didn’t even get one positive thing, not one…I have spat me dummy out. I’ve gone into a bad mood. I am acting like a child. That is exactly what I am doing…Negative Noreen ruined my day.”

4. Louie and Vicky are talking to Mario, trying to make him feel better after his comments from the public.

Louie “What does it matter?...You are going to leave here, you are going to go to TOWIE continue living your life, that’s all what is important. You could have this label over you your whole life and career while you are in show business. But if you are working for the next 10 or 20 years what does it matter…You’ve won anyway.”

5. Lauren is talking to Big Brother about Abz and Vicky saying they wanted her to win.

Lauren “Everyone is an angel and if they want to be abetter angel then they can work that little bit harder to get their wings.”

6. Louie and Carol are talking about the younger housemates being affected by public opinion.

Louie “I am glad what happened to me, happened when I was older. When I think back to when I was that age.”

Carol “No it’s too much too young. They have all got too much too young I think and it can’t last. Then it’s more difficult to get round it when you haven’t got it, if you get it younger. I didn’t really get on telly until I was 40.”

Abz is the individual in the house, he has not joined in the drunken mayhem, the bitchy release so many of them need to function, and, he has, like Vickie named another housemate he thinks should win the show.

Courtney and Lauren remain sidelined, and it has worked in their favor, not so for the housemates who sidelined them.
Vickie has not done herself any favors join ing the bitch-coven, she would have left the house with her integrity in tact if she has stayed close to Abz.
The bitch-coven are just that, bitches...

As nice as Abz is, I don't think he should win, as he hasn't entertained me at all - it would be like another Sam winning, except that Sam was more entertaining than Abz! I do think this was his game plan, as his friend (or family - can't remember which) did say that we haven't seen the real Abz yet & that he is being more quiet than usual.

Abz has done all the tasks, he eats/converses/smokes with the housemates, the only thing he has done not is stay up with the housemates drinking and making a prat of himself, the others have and as you say Christine entertained the viewers. Their Roy Chubby Brown stye entertainment is not for me and if the majority of viewers disagree with me and vote one of them a winner I will

Well, I just think the way he has been is part of a game plan trying to copy Sam - going in the Diary Room near the beginning and saying he has a disability and keeping in the background etc. His relatives/friends saying the real him hasn't come out yet & that he is usually not that quiet, so in my mind he is being false. Also if the house was full of people like him, it would have been a very boring series. Part of my requirements for a winner, is someone who has entertained a bit, as well as being nice. There would have been no live feed for people to watch also if they had all been like him. He is obviously going to come across as nice, if he keeps in the background - we haven't really seen enough of him to know him properly - the more we see of a person, the more they put themselves in the firing line, so he is just playing it safe & safe shouldn't win.
