Post subject:  CBB - Live streaming

Has anyone heard if there is to be Internet 'live' streaming for CBB?

I read that BT were sponsoring CBB and called them, they've no knowledge of anything other than the C4/E4 coverage.

Endermol seem to have vanished, their website was down and phone numbers I found were unanswered.

Real Player site still cover the old BB3 signup.

Can't find any news on this anyplace !

OK - so E4 will be on up to 20 hours a day (??) but for those of us who never sleep during a BB day...

Oh buttocks...!

That means I have to suffer not seeing most of it as 'people' in the house expect to be able to watch silly things like Eastenders and so on - when I want to see CBB. The only option is to get another cable box, but not enough time for that, or have some other clever way of being able to watch.

Nobody else here wants to watch CBB 24/7 :-(

I've just had an email from C4, which says:-

Quote:
As always, who stays and who goes is up to you to decide, but this time you will be able to vote online, with no disconnection from your ISP, and no drop-dialling software to install!

Celebrity Big Brother, it's bigger and it's back!

Big Brother is Better with Broadband

With Broadband from BT, you can watch Celebrity Big Brother online 24/7 and use your phone to gossip about it at the same time. But be warned... someone could call who isn't a Big Brother fan. If this happens, simply rustle a crisp packet and hang up.

This was a thread that I did earlier about BT sponsoring Celeb BB:-

Apparently, the streams will be available for a one-off, £4.95 fee.

Ok - I'm online, using Real One player again.

Anyone going to the C4 website and following the CBB links will find pages that have not been updated as yet (11pm Weds 20th)...

To get to the live feeds use http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/live/live.html
- that seems to work as I've fired up the live feed and got it working.

However, trying to click the links for 'latest news' and so on fails! So much for the great C4 website ${

Well - erm, yeah... You have to sign up for it before trying to view the link!

Yes, I've shelled out my £4.95 for the duration of CBB, can't view unless you pay - can't give out passwords 'cos there isn't one, it's installed as part of Real One donwload (pigs!)

The Endermol staff canteen ? Part to Real networks, for providing the signup procedure, part to BBC (little known fact #422a, the Beeb provide the streaming link to BB!) for networking facilities, part to some Johnny who looks after the streaming and makes sure it's delayed by a good 15 minutes or so, part to Endermol for the canteen and the rest to me - I wish ! Unlike previous BB's - we only seem to have one feed via the C4 website this time, with the choices being broadband or narrowband - same pictures on both A and B.

Thankfully the E4 (red button) feed has a choice of two pics so we can get away from Goldie doing impressions to camera now and again,

What was all that about a 'bunch of actors' ?
