The Celebrity Big Brother housemates have failed their mini-task.

They had to create a patch-work quilt in 24 hours.

Big Brother told them they had failed on two counts.

Firstly, the rules stated that housemates were not permitted to sew any other housemates colour patches unless they were sewing together patchwork blocks to create the final quilt.

Anne Diamond used patches other than her own to create a boarder.

Secondly, the rules stated that there always had to be a minimum of two housemates on the sofa for the whole 24-hours.

The sofa was left entirely unmanned on two occasions and only manned by one person six times.

The group were told they would not receive the task reward of a party.

However, Big Brother will reward the housemates with a take-away supper and a selection of games to play this evening.
