Bookmakers have made Mark Owen the red hot favourite to beat his two remaining challengers in Celebrity Big Brother.

William Hill say they have been 'trampled underfoot' by punters rushing to back the ex-Take That star.

The singer is 1/10 with Blue Square, who have Melinda at 11/2 and Les at 20/1.

Ladbrokes quote Owen as 1/5 to be the last celebrity in the house while Melinda is at 100/30 and Les is 16/1.

Hills made Owen 8/13 favourite to win after eliminating Sue Perkins but were then forced to slash his odds to 1/8 as punters rushed to stake bets of up to £1000 a time on him.

The former favourite, Melinda Messenger, is now 4/1 with Les Dennis the complete outsider at 25/1.

"We were virtually trampled underfoot in the rush to back Mark at any odds offered," said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe. At one time Owen had been offered at 5/1.
