Claire Sweeney has denied tabloid reports she has got engaged to boyfriend Tony Hibbard.
The actress says it was news to her when she opened the newspaper this week.
But she says the Daily Mirror wrote such a nice story about her she couldn't really get cross.
Sweeney, who is lined-up to host a new Saturday night game show on BBC1, has been dating Tony for five months.
She told GMTV: "I'm not engaged. But let's keep it in perspective. It was a nice story written about me, so I'm not at all annoyed."
