Melinda Messenger's gameshow has been criticised by watchdogs for showing a topless woman.

The Independent Television Commission ruled that Fort Boyard had breached guidelines on showing nudity before the 9pm watershed.

In an episode broadcast on digital channel Challenge TV a contestant was asked to secure a clue from a woman wearing only a G-string.

The ITC ruled that the episode, shown at 6.50pm on New Year's Day, was overtly sexual, reports the Daily Record.
