Storyville: The new Americans. BBC4,9.30pm Sunday night.

Filmed over 4 years, this film followed a group of immigrants and refugees as they begin new lifes in America.
Among those filmed as they adjust to their new existence are the Nwidor family from Nigeria; Naima a young Palestinian woman; and the Dominican baseball players Ricardo Rodgrigues and Jose Garcia.

I watch the programme last night Cam, the second part is on tonight.

The four story lines are very sad. The 2 young lads from the Dominican Republic, baseball players 'Ricardo Rodgrigues and Jose Garcia' are anxiously waiting for the news as to weather they will be picked for the team to leave for a new life in the US.
The Nwidor family from a refugee camp in Nigeria are in the USA and are finding the going hard. At the end of the programme last night the wife had just passed her 'Nurses Ass exam'.

Naima; from Palestinian has left her home and is on her way to the America to get married.

I'm looking forward to tonights programme, I hope they all found the peace and happiness they deserve in their new country. :-?
