My choices are influenced by the fact that in the 1980's I used to 'have a life' and actually went to the cinema regularly...

1. Sophie's Choice (oh my Lord, how sad was that?)

2. Tootsie (I'm not mad on comedies - but that was exceptional)

3. The Sound of Music... it still grabs me, all these years later...
