Elton John’s moody mug is going to adorn the side of 20 US jets.
Apparently it’s not a joke.
According to reports, the low cost Florida-based airline AirTran, has actually chosen Sir Elt’s fat mug to appear on 20 of its Boeing 717 jets to promote the launch of satellite radio at each passenger's seat.
For this amazing honour, AirTran decided to give Elton a six-foot long model of a jet and a $50,000 cheque for the Elton John Aids Foundation.
He’s all heart we tell you.
However, they kept schtum about how much the 57-year-old was actually going to pocket from the deal.
"Elton's head is about the same size as the one on the Statute of Liberty," it says on Elton's website
