Alan Hansen meets up with leading footballers to tackle them on the subject of coping with life after the final whistle sounds on their playing career. Former Premiership defender Neil Ruddock says, from the grounds of a rehabilitation clinic, he did not even know how to find a dentist or doctor on his retirement.
Gary Lineker, on the other hand, says he was known to his England teammates as junior Des, such was his diligence in preparing himself for his future role. Paul Gascoinge, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Les Ferdinand, Alan Shearer and Neil "I'm kicking myself" Webb are amoung others who contribute to a polished and absorbing documentary.
